The role involves owning the architectural design and delivery of custom business systems built within Airtable for enterprise clients. You will act as both the Solutions Architect and Delivery Manager, translating complex workflows into scalable relational databases.
The Role
We are looking for a Solutions Consultant to own the architectural design and delivery of custom business systems built entirely within Airtable. This is a unique hybrid role: you will act as both the Solutions Architect (designing the data structure) and the Delivery Manager (managing client expectations and project outcomes).
You aren't just configuring basic views in Airtable; you are accountable for translating complex enterprise workflows into scalable, technically sound relational databases. We need a rigorous database thinker who uses Airtable as their canvas.
What You’ll Do
- Solution Architecture: Act as the architectural authority for our builds. You will design data models, schemas, automations, and interfaces that are scalable and secure.
- Client Ownership: Lead discovery sessions to uncover workflows and pain points. You are the primary point of contact, managing expectations and translating business goals into technical requirements.
- Project Delivery: Own the "How" and the "When." You will manage scope, priorities, and timelines, coordinating day-to-day execution with a dedicated Engineer.
- Systems Design: Evaluate and improve existing Airtable implementations, ensuring data integrity and alignment with client objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Database Mastery & Airtable Application (non-negotiable): You must be a master of core relational database theory, fluent in data normalization, schema design, and Entity-Relationship Diagrams (ERDs). We are not looking for a superficial low-code builder; we need someone who can effortlessly map advanced database concepts into Airtable to create high-stakes, enterprise-grade architecture. If you have built complex systems in comparable relational tools (like SQL databases, FileMaker, or MS Access) The "Consultant" Mindset: Experience in a Solutions Architect, Technical PM, or Delivery Consultant role. You must be comfortable leading client meetings and explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Technical Literacy: You understand data structures and workflows. While you aren't writing code (our Engineer does that), you must be able to validate implementation approaches and speak the same language as Engineering.
- Accountability: You thrive in an environment where you own the outcome, not just a to-do list.
Preferred Background
- Experience in RevOps, Operations, or Business Systems.
- Background in consulting or agency environments.
- Familiarity with the broader low-code/no-code ecosystem.
- Experience using ClickUp for project organization.
Structure & Availability
This is a Full-Time (40 hours/week) position. You will actively manage and architect systems for a diverse portfolio of multiple enterprise clients at any given time. Because this is a core client-facing role, you must have stable, dedicated full-time availability aligned with US business hours to lead discovery sessions and drive consistent project momentum.
