The Director of Forward Deployed Engineering will lead a team of engineers to implement full-stack digital solutions across manufacturing sites. They are responsible for defining engineering standards, prioritizing digital opportunities, and ensuring the delivery of scalable, high-impact technical solutions.
You will design and implement RESTful APIs and ingestion pipelines to transform unstructured data into structured engineering artifacts. Additionally, you will build and extend agentic AI workflows and deploy services on GCP using infrastructure-as-code.
The engineer will design and maintain cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and observability systems to support AI-powered hardware product development. They will also collaborate with engineering teams to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable platform operations.
You will build production-grade React applications and develop shared component libraries to manage complex engineering data. Additionally, you will collaborate with backend teams to integrate APIs and implement interfaces for AI-powered features and project dashboards.
Own end-to-end product execution and discovery for an AI-powered hardware development platform. This includes writing specs, collaborating with engineering, and translating hardware engineer workflows into product features.
You will design, build, and operate LLM-powered agents that coordinate engineering workflows, surface project risks, and generate structured deliverables. Additionally, you will own the agent orchestration layer and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI features into hardware development platforms.
