About the role

Our team is growing, and we’re looking for a Senior Enterprise Account Executive for Hardlines - EMEA to join Inspectorio.

In this role, you will drive new enterprise business with hardlines and general merchandise brands and retailers across the UK, DACH, and Nordic markets. You will combine strong retail domain knowledge with compliance and production chain expertise, own the full sales cycle, and build a self-generated pipeline. We are looking for a seasoned seller who can work autonomously while bringing disciplined, repeatable account execution, strong objection handling, and credible engagement from operational teams to the C-suite. The role can be based in the United Kingdom or Spain.

What you'll do

  • Generate, qualify, and close self-sourced and company-generated pipeline across enterprise hardlines and general merchandise accounts in the UK, DACH, and Nordic markets.
  • Build and execute repeatable territory and account plans using disciplined qualification, stakeholder mapping, clear value hypotheses, and agreed next steps.
  • Multi-thread trusted relationships from operational teams to C-level executives across quality, sourcing, compliance, sustainability, operations, supply chain, technology, and procurement.
  • Use your hardlines expertise to uncover customer priorities across quality, product compliance, responsible sourcing, supplier performance, production, and operational risk, and connect them to measurable business value.
  • Lead discovery, executive presentations, value-based selling, and objection handling in partnership with Solution Consulting, Value Engineering, Product, and Customer Success.
  • Own complex enterprise sales cycles through executive alignment, business cases, solution scope, contract negotiations, pricing, procurement, and close.
  • Bring implementation awareness into the sale, set realistic expectations, and partner with delivery and Customer Success on a smooth handover, adoption, and future account growth.
  • Maintain disciplined pipeline management and accurate forecasts in the CRM, and bring useful customer, market, and competitor insight back to Product, Marketing, and the wider commercial team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Senior-level enterprise software or technology sales experience, with direct experience selling to hardlines, general merchandise, CPG, or durable-goods brands, retailers, or supply chain partners.
  • Strong retail and supply chain knowledge across product quality, responsible sourcing, supplier performance, production workflows, and operational risk, with working knowledge of hardlines compliance requirements such as UFLPA, REACH, Prop 65, conflict minerals, or comparable regulations.
  • Proven success generating pipeline and opening, developing, and closing enterprise opportunities in the UK and/or DACH and Nordic markets.
  • A consistent record of meeting or exceeding quota, with both hunter and farmer experience across new logo acquisition, expansion, and account growth.
  • Strong executive presence and skill in discovery, presentations, multi-threading, objection handling, influencing, and negotiation across complex sales cycles.
  • Implementation-aware selling and the ability to coordinate effectively across Solution Consulting, Value Engineering, Product, delivery, Marketing, and Customer Success.
  • High autonomy, accountability, teamwork, and process discipline, with proficiency in CRM tools such as HubSpot or Salesforce and willingness to travel across the territory.
