As we enhance our global expansion efforts and go-to-market strategy, we are looking for a strategic and results-driven Marketing Operations Manager to join our high performing Marketing team.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING 

Reporting to the VP, Marketing, you will be responsible for championing the marketing technology stack, optimizing campaign operations, and enabling performance measurement across the marketing funnel. You’ll play a key role in aligning marketing efforts with revenue goals through data, automation, and process design.  

In this role, you’ll be the strategic and technical backbone of our marketing function—ensuring our systems, data, and processes are optimized to drive measurable growth. You’ll work cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, and Revenue Operations to enable data-driven decision-making, campaign performance tracking, and scalable marketing operations.  

This role will build the foundation for the Marketing Operations function at Riva. The ideal candidate has demonstrated success in an operational and lead generation role, focused on both outbound engagement and nurturing marketing-generated leads and has experience in coaching, team leadership, and operationalizing effective AI solutions. 

More specifically, your responsibilities will include: 

Marketing Systems & Automation 

  • Administer and optimize marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, etc).  
  • Ensure data quality and successful integrations between marketing systems and CRM (Salesforce).  
  • Manage and lead workflow automation and project management systems across Marketing and Business Development functions. 
  • Design and implement automated workflows to support lead nurturing, scoring, and campaign execution.  

Program Performance & Analytics  

  • Build and maintain dashboards and reporting to track campaign performance, ROI, and attribution.  
  • Support reporting requirements from the functional to board level. 
  • Partner with marketing leadership to define KPIs and success metrics.  

Process Optimization 

  • Working with the VP, Marketing and the functional leads, develop and document scalable marketing and business development processes, including lead management, campaign setup, reporting, and workflows.  
  • Champion and lead the strategy and operationalization of AI across Marketing and Business development workflows and processes, collaborating with operational teams across Riva. 
  • Collaborate with the Revenue Enablement Manager to ensure alignment and adoption of marketing processes across teams.  
  • Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks through data-driven insights.  

Data Management  

  • Maintain data hygiene and enrichment standards across marketing and business development platforms.  
  • Ensure consistent and accurate data flow between marketing, sales, and customer success systems.  
  • Support segmentation, targeting, and personalization efforts through clean and structured data.
  • Additional duties and projects as assigned.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE 

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing operations, revenue operations, or a related role.  
  • Expertise and strong experience with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot expertise strongly preferred).  
  • Experience with current AI tools and capabilities, including demonstrated experience operationalizing them into Marketing department processes with positive results 
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI, etc).  
  • Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce) and marketing attribution models.  
  • Proven ability to design and optimize marketing processes and workflows.  
  • Experience with SaaS marketing metrics and building board-level reporting (e.g., CAC, LTV, funnel conversion rates).  
  • A strong understanding of growth-stage scale-up enterprise B2B SaaS organizations. 
  • An ability to thrive in ambiguous environments with little oversight. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams. 
  • The ability to work remotely while still driving results across the business and teams.

Bonus Points For 

  • Experience with SQL or other data querying tools.  
  • Experience supporting ABM (Account-Based Marketing) strategies.

Must hold a valid work permit or be a permanent resident or citizen of Canada. This role is remote and may be based anywhere in Canada. We recognize this may result in you being in a different time zone. This role needs to work alongside our sales and marketing teams based in MT, ET, and AT time zones where we will have periodic or recurring meetings and where flexibility will be required.
