Business Development Representative (BBS903)

We're looking for a Business Development Representative to own outbound prospecting and pipeline generation for a fast-growing B2B SaaS company selling QuickBooks automation tools to accounting firms, CPAs, and finance teams. You will make cold calls, send outbound emails, qualify inbound leads, and book meetings for the sales team.

This is a cold calling-first role. The primary channel is the phone. You will be calling accounting firms, controllers, and finance leaders, opening conversations about how they currently manage their month-end close, and booking demos for the sales team. If you are confident on the phone, resilient under rejection, comfortable working HubSpot, and motivated by clear activity metrics and measurable output, this role is a strong fit.

What You'll Work On

Cold Calling and Outbound Outreach

• Make outbound cold calls to accounting firms, CPAs, controllers, and finance leaders daily
• Open conversations naturally, qualify interest, and book meetings for the sales team
• Handle objections confidently and keep conversations moving toward a booked outcome
• Send outbound emails alongside calls as part of a structured multi-touch outreach cadence

Inbound Lead Response

• Respond to inbound leads quickly and qualify them against defined criteria
• Book qualified prospects into demo calls with the sales team
• Follow up on open inbound inquiries until they are converted or disqualified

HubSpot and CRM Management

• Log all call and email activity accurately in HubSpot after every interaction
• Maintain clean pipeline data with current contact records, next steps, and outreach history
• Use HubSpot sequences and workflows to manage outreach cadences efficiently
• Keep CRM records accurate and up to date at all times

Pipeline and Reporting

• Meet daily and weekly call volume and meeting booking targets consistently
• Track and report on outreach activity, connect rates, and pipeline contribution
• Flag patterns in objections, prospect quality, or messaging to help improve the outbound motion

What You Bring

• Prior experience in outbound cold calling with a track record of booking meetings from cold conversations
• Comfortable making high-volume outbound calls all day with a confident, natural, and professional phone presence
• Proficiency with HubSpot for CRM management, sequence execution, and activity logging
• Fluent, clear, and professional spoken English — this is a phone-first role
• Strong written communication skills for outbound email and follow-up
• Organized and disciplined with clean CRM habits and consistent follow-through on open outreach threads
• Comfortable with rejection and able to reset quickly between calls without losing energy or momentum
• Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, professional calling environment
• Available to work full-time during US business hours

Nice to Have

• Experience selling or prospecting into accounting firms, CPAs, bookkeepers, or finance teams
• Familiarity with accounting workflows, QuickBooks, or month-end close processes
• Background in B2B SaaS sales or SDR roles at a software company
• Experience using HubSpot sequences, workflows, and reporting features
