Title: Account Manager - Retail

Location: Poland, Virtual

Position Summary

The Account Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding NCR's presence across Poland by selling NCR's portfolio of retail technology solutions, including hardware, software, self-checkout, point-of-sale (POS), payment, store automation, and related services. This role will manage the full sales cycle, from identifying and qualifying opportunities through solution development, commercial negotiations, contract closure, and customer relationship management. The successful candidate will work closely with customers, partners, solution consultants, and delivery teams to develop solutions that address customer business needs and support digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Achieve assigned revenue, margin, and business development targets within the Poland market.
• Generate new business opportunities while maintaining and growing existing customer relationships.
• Promote and sell NCR's hardware, software, SaaS, and professional services portfolio.
• Develop and execute territory and account plans for strategic customers and prospects.
• Build strong relationships with senior decision-makers, procurement teams, and operational stakeholders.
• Lead customer meetings, presentations, solution demonstrations, and commercial discussions.
• Manage complex sales cycles, including RFPs, tenders, contract negotiations, and deal closures.
• Work collaboratively with pre-sales, product, services, and support teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast within CRM tools.
• Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitive activities to identify growth opportunities.
• Represent NCR at industry events, conferences, and customer engagements.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term account development.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 3 years of successful B2B sales experience in technology, software, hardware, or related industries.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Experience managing complex sales opportunities with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain executive-level customer relationships.
• Fluent in Polish and English, both written and spoken.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly within the CEE region.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience selling retail technology, POS systems, self-checkout solutions, payment platforms, software, SaaS, or managed services.
• Knowledge of retail, convenience, hospitality, or fuel retail industries.
• Experience working with enterprise customers and large retail chains.
• Understanding of digital transformation, store modernization, and omnichannel retail solutions.
• Experience responding to RFPs and participating in competitive tender processes.
• Familiarity with CRM tools and sales forecasting methodologies.
• Knowledge of the Poland​ market and ability to conduct business in local language is an advantage.
