Pet-Ag, Inc., an innovative pioneer in the pet product industry, is seeking an experienced sales leader to join our team as the Director of Sales. This role offers a fully remote working environment with up to 50% travel, including but not limited to, monthly visits to the Hampshire, IL facility to conduct meetings and other business.

As a key member of our leadership team, the Director of Sales is responsible for cultivating a culture of success and consistent achievement. This role encompasses meeting budgeted financial targets, driving continuous personnel development, and maintaining a high-performing sales team, all while ensuring the organization's business objectives and goals are met.

Position Responsibilities:
• Develop strategies to drive business growth and foster strong, lasting customer relationships
• Gain a deep understanding of each market and channel where the Company's products are sold and distributed, ensuring successful management of key accounts and closing new strategic opportunities
• Design and coordinate sales training and performance programs that empower staff to achieve desired sales outcomes and reach their full potential
• Lead the team in developing best practices for monthly sales forecasting, providing the organization with clear guidance and alignment with Operations for production planning
• Strategize and actively engage in industry events, trade shows, retailer open houses, and associations that strengthen the Company's business objectives

Position Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree required; studies in animal science or health, marketing, or business are preferred
• 10+ years of progressive sales management experience
• CPG industry leadership experience
• Ability to identify and develop talent through effective coaching and feedback strategies
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
