Role Overview

The Senior Revenue Operations role is responsible for the systems, processes, governance, and reporting that enable Certn's global revenue organization to operate efficiently and scale effectively. This role serves as the operational backbone for Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Executive Leadership by ensuring data integrity, accurate forecasting, meaningful reporting, and consistent execution across the customer lifecycle.

The role owns the business administration and evolution of HubSpot as Certn's CRM, driving adoption, best practices, automation, and process improvements across the business. Working closely with Sales leadership, Finance, Marketing, and Customer Success, this position ensures pipeline health, supports strategic decision-making through analytics and reporting, administers quarterly sales compensation, and provides operational support to the Sales Compensation Committee.

As a global role, flexibility to participate in occasional early morning or evening meetings is required to support teams across multiple time zones.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Operations & HubSpot Administration

  • Own the global business administration, configuration, governance, and continuous improvement of HubSpot.

  • Develop and maintain CRM standards, workflows, automations, reporting, and user permissions.

  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Operations to continually evolve HubSpot to support the entire customer lifecycle, including prospecting, onboarding, lifecycle, renewals, expansions, and customer success.

  • Actively drive and monitor user adoption through training, documentation, and best practices.

Pipeline Governance & Sales Enablement

  • Partner with Sales and CS leadership to ensure consistent CRM usage, accurate forecasting, and high-quality pipeline management.

  • Monitor company record and deal hygiene, pipeline quality, stage progression, forecasting accuracy, and data integrity.

  • Identify process improvements that simplify selling and account management while improving reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.

  • Enable relevant teams to adopt best practices that improve forecast reliability and business visibility.

Reporting, Analytics & Finance Partnership

  • Work closely with Finance to produce accurate pipeline reporting, bookings metrics, forecasting, and executive dashboards.

  • Develop and maintain KPI reporting for Sales, Customer Success, Executive Leadership, and the Board.

  • Provide data-driven insights that support strategic planning, revenue forecasting, operational improvements, and business performance reviews.

Sales Compensation Administration

  • Calculate quarterly sales commissions in accordance with approved compensation plans.

  • Validate bookings, resolve discrepancies, and maintain commission reporting.

  • Prepare materials and recommendations for the Sales Compensation Committee, investigate compensation-related issues, and ensure consistent application of approved policies and plans.

Continuous Improvement & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Identify opportunities to improve revenue processes, automation, reporting, and operational efficiency across Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Finance, and Product.

  • Support strategic initiatives including system enhancements, process redesign, CRM integrations, and operational change management to improve scalability and business performance.

Key Qualifications

  • College or university degree or equivalent work experience.

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Revenue Operations or CRM Administration, with a focus on system administration and operational execution rather than purely analytical or strategy roles.

  • Advanced experience administering HubSpot CRM.

  • Experience partnering with Sales and Finance on forecasting, reporting, and operational processes.

  • Experience calculating and administering sales compensation, including validating bookings, resolving discrepancies, and supporting compensation committee processes.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience building dashboards and executive reporting.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence and drive behavioral change within sales teams, bringing stakeholders along through collaboration rather than administrative pressure.

  • Demonstrated success improving CRM adoption, data quality, and operational processes.

  • HubSpot Administration experience.

Bonus

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • Experience supporting global SaaS organizations.

  • Experience managing CRM integrations with third-party tools (e.g., ZoomInfo, marketing automation, or data enrichment platforms) within HubSpot.

  • Experience supporting executive leadership and board reporting.

  • HubSpot Certifications, Revenue Operations, Business Intelligence, or Project Management certifications.

If you meet most, but not all, of the qualifications listed above, we still encourage you to apply. We recognize that strong candidates come from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences, and we value the diversity of perspectives that brings.
