Overview

Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Ecosystem, this role will be a crucial member of the Marketing Leadership Team, and will be a key contributor to both the Marketing organization and the company overall. This is a highly visible role with the Senior Leadership Team including the broader Go-To-Market (GTM) organization as we are looking for a leader to help build scalability for our next stage of rapid revenue and customer growth through best practices on marketing automation and leveraging new technologies to enable Q-SYS Marketing to be an AI-powered organization. You will build and lead a team of marketing professionals across demand/growth marketing, performance marketing, web strategy and marketing operations functions. We are looking for a marketing leader who can drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth through strategic digital marketing initiatives to evolve our end customer acquisition, engagement, and lifecycle marketing. This opportunity is ideal for a leader with a passion for building teams, working collaboratively, driving demand, and achieving improvements that drive efficiency and measurable outcomes.

Base Pay Range 200k - 260k

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive performance marketing strategy that aligns with our business objectives and targets. You will be responsible for planning, budgeting, forecasting, and measuring the ROI and effectiveness of our marketing campaigns.
  • Oversee and improve our marketing operations processes, systems, and tools, including marketing automation (Marketo), integration with CRM (Salesforce), attribution, analytics, and reporting. You will ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across our marketing platforms and databases. You will also drive the adoption and utilization of marketing technologies and best practices within the team.
  • In coordination with the regional, product and brand marketing teams, you will help direct and optimize our digital marketing channels, including paid search, paid social, display, email, webinars, and events. You will leverage data and analytics to test, learn, and optimize our marketing mix, creative, messaging, and targeting across different segments and personas.
  • As the web strategist for the organization, you possess a unique blend of skills, including expertise in web analytics, growth marketing, user experience, and business strategy. You will lead the design, development, and optimization of our website and landing pages, ensuring they are user-friendly, SEO-friendly, and conversion-oriented.
  • Establish and monitor objectives and key results (OKRs) for the organizations various marketing campaigns and programs to provide data-driven insights and recommendations for improvement. You will create and maintain dashboards and reports that track and communicate our marketing performance and impact on the business. You will also conduct regular analysis and research on our market, competitors, customers, and industry trends.
  • Lead, coach, and build a team of marketing professionals across different functions and geographies. You will foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the team. You will also recruit, train, and retain top talent for the marketing organization.
  • Collaborate and communicate to "achieve as a team" with other marketing leaders, sales, IT, and internal data teams to ensure alignment and integration of our marketing efforts. You will build strong relationships and partnerships across the organization and align our marketing goals and strategies with the overall business objectives and vision.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends, best practices, and innovations in the AV industry and the B2B marketing space. You will continuously explore new opportunities and channels to expand our reach, engagement, and conversion of our target audiences. You will also identify and evaluate new technologies and tools with a bias for a forward-looking perspective on AI that can enhance our marketing capabilities and efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field. Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
  • At least 10 years of progressive experience in high-tech marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing performance marketing, demand/growth marketing, and marketing operations strategies and tactics.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation and CRM (Marketo/Salesforce integration experience preferred), attribution, analytics, and reporting tools and platforms.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and persuade internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of leading, managing, and developing high-performing teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Both a Team Leader and Team Player that has worked in matrixed organizations to create and deliver team-based OKRs.
