Design and implement scalable operational infrastructure, workflows, and metrics to support the growth of scientific research programs. Manage complex, cross-functional projects and applicant selection processes while building durable institutional knowledge.

Identify and scope society-scale AI risk interventions by collaborating with domain experts and funders. Develop detailed implementation plans and recruit professional founders to take ownership of these interventions.

Founders are responsible for identifying high-impact AI risks and developing concrete, fundable interventions to mitigate them. They will build founding teams, secure expert validation, and produce grant proposals to launch independent organizations.

The General Counsel will own the enterprise-level legal function, setting the overall risk and IP strategy for the organization and its subsidiaries. This includes managing a legal team, overseeing outside counsel, and ensuring 501(c)(3) compliance across a complex portfolio of research organizations.

Lead the communications function by building and scaling media capabilities for a portfolio of Focused Research Organizations (FROs). Manage Convergent's internal and digital channels while coordinating with external agencies for brand storytelling.

The role involves leading the UK Residency program to identify and launch new Focused Research Organizations (FROs) while managing partnerships with ARIA, UKRI, and other government bodies. Additionally, the partner will provide board governance for FROs and oversee the operational scaling of the organization's UK presence.
