AI Summary

The role involves managing the EMEA and MENA sales team while carrying an individual enterprise bookings target. You will coach team members, optimize sales playbooks, and drive revenue growth through partner-led initiatives and direct account management.

About Datahash

Datahash is a privacy-centric first-party data platform. Our core product, Datahash Signals, gives marketers low-code, no-code integrations between web, app, e-commerce, CRM, marketing automation and data warehouses on one side and the major ad channels on the other: Meta, Google, TikTok, Snap, Amazon and more. We are one of a handful of badged integration partners across these channels and work with them directly on first-party data adoption programmes, where advertisers are moving to server-side integrations, conversions APIs and privacy-safe measurement. We are bootstrapped, profitable, and run across Dubai, Bangalore, Mumbai and London with clients in EMEA, India, Africa, APAC and the US.

The role

You are the front-line sales manager of record for EMEA and MENA and you carry your own enterprise number while you do it. From your first quarter you manage the Google implementation desk (four people converting partner nominations at volume), the enterprise account executives across the Gulf, the inside sales seat and the programme coordinator: eight or nine sellers, one manager, so the Head of Sales manages one person for all of EMEA and MENA execution. You are hired as a coach as much as a closer: the person you report to is a strong individual contributor growing into management, and part of your job is to make front-line management craft visible and learnable. Routine pipeline work is carried by our agents and dashboards; you manage exceptions and people.

What you will do

  1. Own the number. Carry an enterprise bookings target of your own on named Tier-A accounts and expansions across the region, and the team number for everyone reporting to you, reviewed weekly against pace on the revenue board.
  2. Run the desk. Manage the Google implementation desk and the enterprise AEs day to day: pipeline reviews by exception, deal coaching, stage discipline, and the deadline doctrine with partners (approvals inside 30 days of a call, implementations inside four weeks).
  3. Coach in the room. Join and lead pursuits where a senior presence changes the outcome, then hand the relationship back. Run the Tier-A expansion conversations with our largest regional accounts alongside delivery.
  4. Build the playbook. Turn what wins into a repeatable team motion: discovery, pitch, proposal, procurement, so the team's win rate without a founder in the room rises measurably.
  5. Grow the people. Weekly one-to-ones, quarterly development plans, and a hiring bar you hold on every offer in your region.

What success looks like

  • Your own bookings and the team's bookings on plan on a quarterly basis, with pipeline coverage held at or above 2.5 times.
  • Team conversion rates up materially within two quarters, measured stage by stage.
  • Five Tier-A expansion conversations a quarter with a documented next step on each.
  • Every seller in your span has a current plan and a manager they would recommend.

How we hire

We move fast and we are transparent about how we decide. An AI assistant helps us screen applications against the must-haves in this description and helps schedule conversations; every decision about a person is made by a person.

Step 1: a short structured screen within two working days of applying. Step 2: a 50-minute conversation with the hiring manager. Step 3: a small case exercise close to the real work, which you present to two or three of us. Step 4: fit and terms with our VP Delivery or Head of Sales and Partnerships, and for senior roles the founder. We aim to give you a decision within five working days of the final conversation.

We evaluate evidence rather than claims, the quality of your questions, how you handle ambiguity, and how naturally you already use AI in your own work.

Requirements

What we need from you

  • Eight to ten years in B2B enterprise sales with at least three years managing sellers directly, in SaaS, adtech, martech or data infrastructure.
  • A record of carrying and hitting a personal quota while managing a team, in the Gulf or wider EMEA.
  • Fluency in partner-led selling: you have sold alongside Google, Meta or similar platform teams and know how to convert their referrals.
  • Working knowledge of first-party data, conversions APIs, tagging and measurement, enough to run a discovery call without a solutions engineer.
  • Disciplined use of CRM and dashboards; you manage from the data, not the anecdote.
  • Comfortable using AI tools daily for research, preparation, drafting and analysis, and expecting your team to do the same.
  • Excellent English; Arabic is a strong advantage for the Gulf.

Nice to have

  • Experience as a player-coach in a company below 100 people.
  • Prior work with Gulf enterprise groups in retail, telecom, travel, real estate or BFSI.
  • Exposure to South Africa or wider Africa sales, which this region also covers.

Probably not a fit if

  • You want a pure management role with no personal number, or a pure IC role with no team.
  • You need a large marketing engine feeding you inbound; most of our pipeline is partner-sourced and you convert it.

Benefits

  • A startup environment backed by a stable, bootstrapped, profitable business.
  • Competitive compensation and one of the most employee-friendly ESOP programmes in the industry.
  • Work from anywhere, on your hours; coworking access when you want a change from home.
  • Health cover for you and your family.
  • Real international exposure: clients and partners across the Gulf, Europe, Africa, India, APAC and the US.
  • A yearly offsite that we take seriously, and a culture that does not.

Datahash is an equal-opportunity employer. We hire on evidence and fit for the work and do not ask for salary history. Compensation is discussed at the fit-and-terms stage.
