About the Role
We are seeking an energetic, curious and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help fuel NetX's next phase of growth by identifying, engaging and qualifying prospective customers.
As the first point of contact for many prospects, you'll play a critical role in building relationships, creating opportunities and generating qualified pipeline for our Account Executive team. You'll leverage modern sales tools, thoughtful outreach and industry research to connect with organizations that can benefit from NetX's Digital Asset Management and AI-powered intelligence solutions.
This position is open only to candidates who currently reside in the United States and are legally authorized to work in the U.S. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
Requirements
What You'll Do
Prospecting & Pipeline Generation
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities through outbound prospecting and inbound lead follow-up.
- Research target accounts and identify key decision-makers across enterprise organizations, museums, sports organizations, universities, nonprofits and other content-rich industries.
- Execute personalized outreach through phone, email, LinkedIn, video messaging and other digital channels.
- Qualify prospects based on business needs, technology environment, buying readiness and strategic fit.
- Schedule high-quality discovery meetings and product demonstrations for Account Executives.
- Maintain consistent activity levels to achieve monthly meeting and pipeline generation goals.
Sales Development & Account Research
- Develop a deep understanding of NetX's Digital Asset Management platform, AI capabilities and target industries.
- Research prospect organizations to uncover initiatives, technology investments and business challenges that align with NetX's value proposition.
- Identify buying signals, organizational changes and market opportunities that create meaningful sales conversations.
- Maintain accurate account and prospect information within CRM and sales engagement platforms.
Digital Customer Success & Account Management
- Serve as a key member of the Customer Care Team supporting 48 customers in our Digital Customer Success (DCS) program, a lower-touch, team-based service model.
- Own the renewal process for assigned accounts, including reviewing contract terms and ensuring timely, accurate renewals.
- Identify and execute upsell opportunities within the DCS customer base.
- Handle general account management needs for assigned customers, resolving questions and issues.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Marketing to follow up on campaign-generated leads and provide feedback on lead quality and messaging.
- Work with Account Executives to develop account strategies and coordinate outreach for strategic prospects.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing to stay current on new capabilities, product launches, competitive positioning and industry trends.
- Share insights from customer conversations to help improve messaging, campaigns and product positioning.
Customer-Facing Responsibilities
- Represent NetX professionally and enthusiastically in every interaction.
- Clearly communicate NetX's value proposition and differentiate our platform from competitive solutions.
- Participate in industry events, webinars and virtual conferences to engage prospective customers and generate new opportunities.
- Travel to industry conferences and trade shows as needed to represent NetX and build relationships with prospective customers.
- Deliver a positive first impression that reflects NetX's commitment to customer partnership and innovation.

Who You Are
- 3-5+ years of experience in sales development, business development, inside sales, or customer-facing SaaS roles.
- Strong interest in B2B technology sales and a desire to build a career in enterprise software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage executives confidently.
- Curious, resourceful and comfortable researching complex organizations and industries.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a remote environment.
- Organized and detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.
- Willing and able to travel periodically for industry conferences and trade shows.
- Experience using CRM and sales engagement platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, ZoomInfo is preferred.
- Experience selling or prospecting into DAM, CMS, MAM, ECM, SaaS, AI, or enterprise software markets is a plus.
