CMHWorks is seeking an entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to lead the growth of our consulting services and newly launched technology products. This is a high-impact role responsible for developing and executing our business development strategy while owning the complete sales lifecycle, from identifying opportunities to closing deals and nurturing long-term client relationships.

This individual will play a key role in helping shape CMHWorks' future growth by building a strong sales pipeline, expanding our client base, establishing strategic partnerships, and providing market insights that influence new product and service offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Business Growth

• Develop and execute the company's business development strategy.
• Build and manage the complete sales pipeline from prospecting through contract execution.
• Identify new market opportunities, target industries, and strategic growth initiatives.
• Develop and implement outreach campaigns that generate qualified leads.
• Establish partnerships that expand the company's market presence.
• Recommend improvements to pricing, positioning, and go-to-market strategies.

Lead Generation & Prospecting

• Research and identify prospective clients.
• Generate leads through networking, referrals, outbound prospecting, and digital channels.
• Build relationships with decision-makers and executive stakeholders.
• Qualify opportunities and maintain a healthy pipeline.

Sales Management

• Conduct discovery meetings.
• Present CMHWorks' consulting service solutions.
• Prepare proposals, estimates, presentations, and Statements of Work.
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms.
• Close new business opportunities.
• Consistently achieve revenue and sales objectives.

Client Relationship & Account Management

• Build trusted relationships with clients throughout the sales process.
• Ensure a seamless transition from sales to project delivery.
• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
• Manage assigned client accounts, serving as the primary point of contact to foster long-term partnerships and support continued business growth.
• Maintain regular communication to support long-term client success.

CRM & Sales Operations

• Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts.
• Track pipeline health, conversion rates, and sales performance.
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
• Analyze metrics and recommend process improvements.

Market Intelligence

• Monitor industry trends and competitors.
• Gather customer feedback to improve services and products.
• Assist leadership with new product launch strategies.
• Recommend opportunities for expanding the company's service offerings.

Qualifications:

Required

• 3+ years of business development or consultative sales experience.
• Proven success managing the full sales cycle.
• Experience building and maintaining a sales pipeline.
• Proposal development and contract negotiation experience.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in both remote and in-person work environments.

Desired

• Experience selling IT consulting services, managed services, software, SaaS solutions or adjacent industry solutions.
• Experience selling to small and mid-sized businesses.
• CRM experience (Zoho, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar).
• Familiarity with digital marketing and lead generation strategies.
