The Account Executive is responsible for onboarding, training, and activating new agents while supporting lead generation and sales enablement efforts. They also manage a portfolio of accounts and act as a liaison between the Sales and Agent Support departments.

This role focuseson engagingwithnewly contracted agents to guide them through onboarding, training, and best practices. Additionally,the AccountExecutivesupports lead generation efforts,worksindustry events, and gradually takes onhigherlevelaccount management responsibilities.The Account Executivealsoservesas a liaison between Sales and Agent Support, ensuring that escalated concerns are routed appropriately.
Location preferred: upper Midwest/north central states (NE, OH, IN, IL, IA, MI)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Newly Contracted Agent Outreach– Conduct outbound calls to introduce new agents to NCD’s tools, resources, and onboarding process, ensuring a smooth start.
Outbound Lead Calls– Contact warm leads and prospective agents to educate them on NCD’s offerings and drive contracting.
Event Engagement & Lead Generation–Work atthe booth at industry conferences and networking events, engaging with potentialagentsand strengthening NCD’s brand presence.
Agent Onboarding Workshops– Facilitate small-group virtual or in-person sessions toprovidestep-by-step guidance for new agents.
Sales Enablement Support– Gather and share agent success stories, providing case studies and best practices to help drive sales conversations.
Product & Training Webinars– Lead weekly training webinars, ensuring agents fully understand NCD’s products and sales strategies.
Account Management Support– Take ownership of a small portfolio of accounts, ensuring agents receive the necessary support and guidance to drive production.
Event Lead Follow-Up– Implement structured post-event follow-ups, nurturing leads into engaged, contracted agents.
Themed Monthly Call Campaigns– Conduct targeted outreach campaigns to contracted agents, gathering insights on their experience with NCD’s products, processes, and challenges to inform future product development and operational improvements.
Qualifications:
Experience:
2-4 years of experience in sales, account management, or agent support, preferably in the insurance or healthcare industry.
Experience with outbound sales calls, lead generation, and customer engagement.
Familiarity with agent onboarding and training processes.
Skills& Competencies:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to educate and support agents effectively.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple agent relationships simultaneously.
Excellent presentation and public speaking skills, particularly for training webinars and workshops.
Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with data tracking and CRM software.
Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic sales environment.
Education& Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
Insurance licenses (Life & Health) preferred or willingness to obtain.
OtherRequirements:

Comfortable making outbound sales and follow-up calls regularly.
