The AIoT Sales Director leads B2B and enterprise sales activity to generate business opportunities for SaaS, AI, IoT, Connectivity, and related solutions with U.S. enterprises, critical infrastructure organizations, oil and gas customers, public safety entities, and city or municipal customers. This role identifies and develops strategic relationships, positions EPIC iO solutions with business and technical decision makers, manages complex technology sales cycles, and partners cross-functionally to create profitable business and support long-term customer growth.

Responsibilities & Tasks
- Identify and engage key partners, including technology platforms and security providers, to execute strategic relationships aligned with company business objectives.
- Identify, access, and cultivate decision-maker relationships to position AI, IoT, and Connectivity solutions effectively.
- Lead strategic discussions with partners and customers to understand business objectives and align needs with EPIC iO products and services.
- Develop and implement business plans that support product placement, customer satisfaction, revenue growth, and profitable long-term results.
- Perform short-term and long-range sales planning to support sales growth, gross profit goals, and sustainable customer expansion.
- Manage complex technology opportunities with sales cycles that may range from approximately three months to one year.
- Use CRM tools, including Salesforce and HubSpot, to maintain pipeline visibility, sales activity, forecasting discipline, and operational efficiency.
- Leverage and partner with EPIC iO resources as one team, including inside sales, business development, customer success, product, marketing, finance, delivery, and executive leadership.
- Travel to existing and prospective customers to sustain relationships, grow solution adoption, and support revenue expansion.
- Use computer and phone technology for extended periods to conduct outreach, customer follow-up, CRM activity, presentations, and sales coordination.
- Provide clear communication regarding opportunity status, customer needs, partner activity, risks, next steps, and expected outcomes.
- Identify opportunities to improve sales execution, partner engagement, customer positioning, and cross-functional support processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent sales experience.
- Seven or more years of experience in a regional or vertical sales role with demonstrated quota attainment success.
- Demonstrated excellence in communication and negotiation with enterprise-level customers and partners.
- Experience selling SaaS, AI, and IoT-based models.
- Technical knowledge and ability to communicate across business departments, including engineering, procurement, and upper management.
- Ability to support negotiation and pursuit of large, complex, multi-million-dollar deals.
- Demonstrated ability to execute regional sales plans focused on end-user business development and sales execution within a complex sales cycle.
- Capability to work with, plan with, and sell with technology and channel partners.
- Strong relationship-building, planning, presentation, CRM, organization, and follow-through skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Entrepreneurial experience.
- Experience using Salesforce CRM.
- Experience working in a high-tech, security-based AI and IoT environment using an *aaS model for small to medium-sized businesses.
- Background selling products and services in critical infrastructure and/or oil and gas markets.
- Experience with HubSpot or comparable CRM/marketing automation tools.
- Experience selling into public safety, municipal, enterprise, or infrastructure-focused markets.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in an office environment for extended periods when required.
- Ability to work remotely and use computer and phone technology for multiple hours at a time.
- Ability to travel approximately 30% to meet with existing and prospective customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.
