Design and operate critical systems including identity and access management, financial ledgering, and blockchain infrastructure. Lead cross-functional technical projects and establish reliability standards for core services.

The Staff Engineer will design, build, and operate critical systems covering identity and access management, financial operations like transfers and ledgering, and the underlying blockchain infrastructure for on-chain trading. This involves defining reliability standards, leading cross-functional projects, and mentoring other engineers on secure and high-scale backend foundations.

The manager will own all lifecycle messaging within Braze, including email, push, and in-app messaging, and will be responsible for building and maintaining automated flows for onboarding, retention, and win-back campaigns. They must also set up promotions, run A/B tests, and track key performance indicators related to activation and retention.
