What You'll Be Doing:

  • Expanding Our Presence: You'll be the first on the ground, helping us establish and grow our presence in India.

  • Collaborative Efforts: Working with our Solutions Architects and Marketing team, you'll engage in both outbound and inbound activities to build a robust customer pipeline and onboard them to the DoubleCloud platform.

  • Customer Engagement: You'll help prospects discover the value of the DoubleCloud platform, guide them through their initial weeks to encourage adoption, and create a 'buzz' to foster community recommendations.

  • Market Insights: Provide market feedback on DoubleCloud's platform to our Product and Business Development teams, directly influencing our roadmap and future partnerships.

  • Event Participation: Represent DoubleCloud at events, promoting our platform to the market.

What We're Looking For:

  • Self-Motivated Communicator: Excellent at initiating and maintaining conversations.

  • Relevant Experience: At least 3 years in Sales, SDR, or BDR roles within high-growth, product-driven companies, or in sales solutions engineering.

  • Versatile Sales Background: Proven experience selling to a diverse range of companies across various sizes, verticals and industries.

  • SaaS Expertise: Skilled at driving adoption, uptake, and consumption of SaaS products.

  • Big Data Enthusiast: A genuine passion for big data and the transformative value a great data platform brings to companies and their data engineers.

  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in English, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers at any decision-making level.

  • MEDDPICC Knowledge: A strong understanding of and enthusiasm for the MEDDPICC sales methodology.

Nice to Haves:

  • Cloud Technology Expertise: In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or data PaaS, and modern data stacks.

  • Adaptable Learner: Quick to learn and ready to thrive in the dynamic environment of a startup.

  • Open-Source and Cloud Data Experience: Familiarity with open-source technologies or cloud data platforms like Snowflake and Databricks.
