Responsibilities

 

At CooperSurgical, we are looking to recruit a Territory Manager for Italy North. You will be part of the South Europe Sales Team with focus on Medical Devices and report to the Regional Business Manager South Europe.

 

This position is field based and will cover private clinics and hospitals with a particular focus in and around the operating rooms and delivery suites. This is an exciting opportunity, where you will be responsible to support the transition of products newly acquired and established in the market as well as supporting the launch of new and unique products. 

 

Location: Milan 

 

 

Essential Functions & Accountabilities:

 

  • Individual is required to make sales calls to surgeons of various specialties, operating room and L&D management, and nursing and administration.  Also, this sales representative must engage office-based sales opportunity of all targeted customers.  Also, the ability to work within the Public and Private Sector

  • Individual must communicate to these professionals the various benefits of using CooperSurgical products in their surgical practice and/or operating room

  • KOL support: engage Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) in your territory in product support initiatives   

  • Individual must compile weekly and monthly sales and activity reports and submit them to their Sales Manager in a complete and timely fashion

  • Individual must plan and execute their sales plan to obtain the sales and business goals and objectives within their assigned territory

  • Individual must complete the training requirements of the products and the surgical applications of those products.  They must pass both interim and final examinations and demonstrate to Training and Sales Management that their clinical and product knowledge, ability to articulate proper assembly, use, clinical application, and maintenance of the instrumentation is within Company Standards. They must demonstrate to the satisfaction of Training and Sales Management their competency in communicating and training physician, nursing, and cleaning and sterilization personnel, in the proper use and maintenance of the products

  • Timely and accurate updating of CRM for all customers and review information with management routinely

  • Participate in national and regional sales exhibits during congresses, as needed

  • Submitting expenses in a complete and timely manner as per company

  • Submitting all paperwork in a timely manner

  • Must be responsive to management requests

  • Must travel overnight as needed

  • Plan for certain international travel for training courses, meetings, conferences

  • Performs other duties as assigned by management 

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the Medical Device area and the operating room

  • Knowledge of gynaecology and women’s healthcare would be desirable 

  • Comprehension of the Region’s diverse healthcare systems

  • Comprehension of the tenders

  • Strong core sales Skills 

  • Self-starter with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal day to day management

  • Aptitude for engaging and motivating by providing product training courses to customers

  • Effective territory planning

  • Must have excellent organization skills

  • Customer focused and stakeholder management

  • Passion for customer development and new account acquisition

  • Results oriented

  • Business acumen

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Microsoft Office proficiency required and CRM tool skills

  • Fluent in Italian and good level of English (written and verbal)

 

 

Experience:

 

  • +3-5 years (or more) of  experience in a field sales role within a surgical and/or Labor and Delivery / OR environment

  • Prospecting, Opening Skills, Stakeholder engagement and Mapping, Qualification & Investigation, Preparation, Demonstration, Negotiation & Acquisition, Closing Skills, Objection handling

 

Education:

  • Degree, preferably in a business-related discipline or scientific degree

Your recruitment team will be able to share more information about any variable pay opportunity and benefit package that accompanies this role. The good faith estimate of the salary range for this role is 49.200 to 65.000 Euro Annually. The actual amount offered is determined by a number of factors including but not limited to location, skills and experience.
