Summary
The Salesforce Administrator serves as the primary administrator and business owner for the Salesforce platform supporting the Bureau Veritas Technical Assessments sales organization and approximately 30 users. This role is responsible for maintaining data integrity, system governance, security, reporting, user support, onboarding, and training to ensure Salesforce effectively supports sales operations and corporate reporting requirements.
The role will partner closely with Bureau Veritas Global Salesforce to maintain compliance with enterprise standards and support the alignment, synchronization, and eventual migration of the North America Salesforce environment into the global instance. The Administrator will also ensure accurate and timely daily, monthly, and ad hoc reporting for sales leadership and Corporate Headquarters, while driving data hygiene, user adoption, process improvement, and ongoing system optimization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary administrator for the Salesforce platform, managing user accounts, roles, profiles, permission sets, security settings, and system configurations while ensuring alignment with business processes and compliance requirements.
- Lead the synchronization and eventual migration of the North America Salesforce environment into the Bureau Veritas global Salesforce instance, partnering with global stakeholders to ensure a seamless transition, data integrity, and minimal business disruption.
- Develop, maintain, and distribute monthly sales reports, dashboards, and key performance metrics that provide leadership with actionable insights into sales performance, pipeline health, forecasting, and business trends.
- Maintain the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of Salesforce data by conducting regular audits, managing imports and exports, resolving data quality issues, and implementing governance best practices.
- Provide day-to-day support for Salesforce users by troubleshooting system issues, answering questions, delivering user training, and promoting adoption of new features and best practices.
- Configure and enhance Salesforce through the creation and maintenance of custom objects, fields, page layouts, validation rules, record types, Flows, and other automation tools to improve business processes and user experience.
- Manage lead assignment rules, opportunity tracking, sales pipeline processes, and forecasting workflows to ensure accurate reporting and complete visibility into sales activities.
- Oversee integrations between Salesforce and other business applications, including CRM, marketing automation, ERP, and financial systems, ensuring reliable data synchronization and system performance.
- Maintain Salesforce security by administering user permissions, access controls, sharing rules, audit trails, and backup procedures while ensuring compliance with corporate policies and applicable data privacy regulations.
- Monitor platform performance, identify opportunities for optimization, recommend system enhancements, and support continuous improvement initiatives that increase efficiency and scalability.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of Salesforce configurations, workflows, integrations, business processes, and standard operating procedures to support system governance and knowledge sharing.
- Evaluate Salesforce seasonal releases and emerging platform capabilities, recommending and implementing new features that improve productivity, automation, and the overall user experience.
- Produce ad hoc reports, dashboards, data extracts, and analytical insights to support strategic initiatives, executive decision-making, and ongoing business operations.
- Protects operations by keeping company information confidential.
- Delivers outstanding customer service through timely response and proactive solutions to clients’ needs.
- Demonstrates BV’s guiding principles in support of the company's strategic goals.
- Follows all documented policies, Standard Operating Procedures, and Work Instructions applicable to the position and support of BV's quality standards and strategic initiatives.
- Maintains safe and clean work area by complying with all procedures, rules, and regulations.
- May be required to work overtime with prior authorization from supervisor.
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
- Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM-201) certification is required; Advanced Administrator or other Salesforce certifications are preferred.
- Minimum of two years of Salesforce administration experience supporting business users in a corporate environment.
- Experience developing reports, dashboards, automations, and data management processes within Salesforce is required.
- Experience supporting CRM integrations, user adoption initiatives, and cross-functional business teams is preferred.
- Experience participating in enterprise Salesforce implementations or CRM migrations, including data mapping and system integration projects, is highly desirable.
Skills:
- Demonstrated experience administering Salesforce, including user management, security, reporting, dashboards, data management, and workflow automation.
- Proficiency with Salesforce Lightning, Flow, Reports, Dashboards, Data Loader, and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to analyze business requirements, identify process improvements, and translate operational needs into scalable Salesforce solutions.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex situations and recommend effective solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare reports, system documentation, standard operating procedures, and user training materials.
- Ability to present technical information clearly to users with varying levels of Salesforce knowledge and provide exceptional customer support.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce integrations, data governance, security best practices, and CRM administration principles is preferred.
