About the RoleThe Sales Development Representative is responsible for building and feeding Random Golf Club's brand
partnership pipeline. This role owns the top of the funnel - identifying, researching, and initiating
conversations with brands across golf, outdoor, travel, and lifestyle categories - so that qualified
opportunities are consistently flowing into the Head of Partnerships for pitching, structuring, and closing.
Brand partnerships pay for the events, the films, and the fun extras - this role goes out and finds them.
This role sits at the front line of RGC's partnership engine. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who's
comfortable with high-volume outbound, thrives on research and relationship-building, and is motivated
by clear, achievable targets.
What You'll DoOutbound ProspectingBuild and execute outbound strategy to generate new partnership conversations. Responsibilities include:
- Researching and building target lists across priority categories (apparel, travel, tech, spirits,
- financial services, etc.)
- Cold outreach via email, LinkedIn, and other channels
- Personalizing outreach to RGC's content and audience story - not generic templated pitches.
- Twenty emails that land beats two hundred that don't.
- Tracking response rates and iterating on messaging
Lead QualificationVet inbound and outbound interest to ensure only strong-fit brands move forward. Responsibilities
include:
- Initial discovery calls to understand brand goals, budget range, and fit
- Qualifying against RGC's audience demographics and partnership tiers
- Flagging category conflicts or brand-risk concerns before they reach the Head of Partnerships
- Protecting the community from partners that don't ring true. If our members wouldn't buy it, we shouldn't be selling it.
Pipeline ManagementOwn the CRM and reporting for top-of-funnel activity. Responsibilities include:
- Logging all outreach, responses, and meeting outcomes
- Maintaining an organized, up-to-date pipeline view
- Providing weekly reporting on outreach volume, response rates, and meetings booked
Handoff & Internal CoordinationAct as the bridge between prospecting and closing. Responsibilities include:
- Preparing clean handoff notes for the Head of Partnerships ahead of first pitch calls
- Coordinating scheduling and follow-up logistics
- Working with the Partnerships Account Manager to understand what "good fit" partners look like post-close

- Says when something isn't working, asks for help early
- Self-motivated in a remote, fast-paced startup environment
Bonus points if you have experience in:
- Golf or outdoor lifestyle brands

CompensationBase Salary:$45,000 – $52,000

Target commission of $15,000 – $23,000 at full attainment.
Total Potential Compensation (OTE): $65,000 – $75,000
Why This Role MattersRGC's growth depends on a full, consistently-fed pipeline. This role ensures the Head of Partnerships is
spending time closing high-value deals rather than sourcing them from scratch - turning outbound into a
repeatable, scalable engine rather than something squeezed in between everything else.
