We are specifically seeking candidates who have prior Sales Development Representative (SDR) or Business Development Representative (BDR) experience.
Candidates without previous SDR/BDR experience are unlikely to be a fit for this role.
Generate qualified sales opportunities through outbound prospecting
Research and identify prospective SLED (State & Local Government) agencies
Execute strategic outreach using phone, email, LinkedIn, and other sales engagement tools
Qualify opportunities and schedule meetings for the sales team
Maintain accurate CRM data and pipeline activity
Meet or exceed activity, pipeline, and opportunity creation goals
Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing to improve messaging and campaign effectiveness
Continuously learn our solutions and communicate technical concepts clearly to prospective customers
Proven experience as an SDR or BDR with measurable success
Experience prospecting into B2B organizations
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Experience using CRM platforms and modern sales engagement/outreach tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Comfortable learning technical software solutions and communicating value to customers
SaaS sales experience
SLED (State & Local Government) sales experience
Microsoft Dynamics CRM experience
Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and modern sales engagement platforms
Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in sales, business, or marketing
