The Sales Development Analyst is responsible for driving revenue-generating activities across lead qualifications, prospect engagement, CRM data quality, and eCommerce Customer Onboarding.

 

This role helps connect Marketing, Sales, eCommerce and Commercial Operations by ensuring leads, customer onboarding activities and commercial data are managed consistently, actioned efficiently and visible through appropriate systems and reporting. The role focuses on business growth, customer acquisition, and data quality.

Snapshot of Responsibilities:

Sales Development

  • Review, qualify, prioritize, and route marketing-generated leads in alignment with agreed qualification criteria, sales coverage, and follow-up expectations.
  • Prospect and account research.
  • Support strategic outbound campaigns and product launch initiatives.
  • Follow up with webinar, tradeshow, and campaign responders.
  • Maintain CRM hygiene and data quality standards by ensuring lead, contact, account, activity, and onboarding information is complete, accurate, and consistently updated.
  • Identify duplicates and data inconsistencies in CRM
  • Partner with Account Managers and Business Development teams to accelerate opportunity creation.

  • Assist with reporting and data validation activities supporting sales execution.
  • Monitor lead progression and sales engagement activity to identify routing issues, ownership discrepancies, stalled opportunities, and follow-up gaps.
  • Partner with Account Managers, Business Development Managers, Sales Management, and other stakeholders to ensure opportunities are routed appropriately and customer engagement expectations are met.
  • Serve as a point of coordination for resolving lead routing exceptions, ownership conflicts, and process breakdowns that could negatively impact customer experience, pipeline development, or revenue generation.

 

eCommerce Customer Onboarding

  • Support customer onboarding through initial account setup.
  • Assist customers with eCommerce platform adoption.
  • Help customers navigate first-order processes.
  • Partner with internal teams to remove onboarding barriers.
  • Track onboarding progress and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Support initiatives that increase eCommerce revenue and customer adoption.

 

Sales Development Requests

  • Execute approved sales development and commercial operations projects that support lead generation, customer acquisition, eCommerce adoption, data quality, or commercial process improvement.
  • Support targeted prospecting and research initiatives.
  • Participate in strategic growth projects and product launch campaigns as assigned.

 

Additional

  • Participate in sales, marketing, and product training.
  • Represent the company at conferences and industry events as required.
  • Assist with special projects supporting revenue growth and eCommerce initiatives.
  • Partner with Marketing Operations to identify opportunities to automate manual intake or improve triage, routing, and follow-up processes.


What You Bring:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Business, Communications, Marketing, or relevant industry experience
  • 1-2 years of previous sales or sales development experience and an interest in business and/or marketing.
  • Proven research skills with the ability to filter critical information. 
  • Ability to take direction, work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams. 
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications
  • Previous experience working with Salesforce will be considered an asset.
  • Must be comfortable with phone and communications with customers.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written
  • High level of integrity and strong commitment to building a successful company.
  • Previous experience in sales development, sales operations, marketing operations, revenue operations, customer onboarding, or commercial analytics preferred.

$45,000 - $75,000 a year

The base salary range for this full-time position is $45,000 - $75,000 CAD. The range displayed on the job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base salary for the position, based on our defined salary pay ranges. Our ranges are broad to account for differences in roles, performance, experience, skillsets, education and business needs and individual pay is determined by a variety of factors.
