The role

This is a quota-carrying, new business acquisition role focused on expanding Corero's footprint across the United States. Success requires a relentless focus on prospecting, partner engagement, executive engagement, and closing complex cybersecurity sales. Approximately 60% of your focus will be acquiring new logos and developing untapped enterprise accounts, with the remaining 40% dedicated to expanding strategic existing customers. You'll partner with Sales Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, and Channel Partners to create demand, build pipeline, and consistently exceed aggressive growth targets.

Location

Strong location preference for the candidate to be located in one of these cities: St. Louis, Chicago, Minneapolis, Indianapolis, Columbus/Cleveland

What You'll Do

· Own an assigned U.S. territory with accountability for new customer acquisition and revenue growth.

· Generate pipeline through outbound prospecting, executive networking, partner relationships, and industry events.

· Identify, qualify, and close complex six- and seven-figure enterprise cybersecurity opportunities.

· Develop trusted relationships with CISOs, CIOs, CTOs, network architects, security operations leaders, and executive decision-makers.

· Lead opportunities from initial engagement through technical validation, commercial negotiation, and contract execution.

· Drive competitive displacement opportunities by replacing legacy vendors and network security solutions.

· Build and execute strategic account plans focused on large enterprise, service provider, cloud, hosting, and critical infrastructure organizations.

· Collaborate with Sales Engineering to deliver compelling demonstrations, technical workshops, and proof-of-value engagements.

· Recruit, enable, and grow high-performing channel partners to accelerate regional growth.

· Maintain disciplined pipeline management and forecast accuracy using Salesforce and MEDDPICC (or comparable enterprise sales methodology).

· Consistently exceed quarterly and annual sales objectives.

What Makes You Successful

You are a disciplined hunter who enjoys building pipeline as much as closing business. You don't wait for leads—you create opportunities. You know how to navigate complex buying committees, sell business value to executives, and earn credibility with technical stakeholders. You are competitive, resilient, self-motivated, and thrive in a high-growth environment where performance is rewarded.

Qualifications

· Minimum 10+ years of enterprise/service provider technology sales experience with a proven record of new logo acquisition.

· Consistent achievement of 100%+ quota in enterprise cybersecurity, networking, infrastructure, telecommunications.

· Demonstrated success closing six- and seven-figure enterprise software transactions.

· Experience selling into Fortune 2000 organizations, service providers, cloud providers, or critical infrastructure customers.

· Strong understanding of networking technologies, network-based attack detection and mitigation, cloud networking, BGP, DNS, or cybersecurity solutions.

· Experience managing complex enterprise sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.

· Excellent executive communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

· Experience leveraging channel partners and strategic alliances to accelerate growth.

· Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and structured enterprise sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, MEDDIC, or Command of the Message.

· Ability to travel approximately 30–40% within the assigned territory.

What We Offer

· Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission with significant upside for overachievement

· Accelerators for exceeding quota and winning strategic accounts

· Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits

· 401(k).

· Life insurance

· Flexible paid time off

· Remote-first work environment

· The opportunity to shape the growth of an innovative cybersecurity company protecting some of the world's most critical networks

If you're energized by winning competitive enterprise/service provider deals, building relationships with executive buyers, and helping organizations defend against increasingly sophisticated cyber threats, we'd like to hear from you.
