Job Details: Job Location: Corporate Office - Atlanta, GA, Salary Range: Undisclosed, National Account Manager Where customer relationships meet strategy, growth, and impact. 📍 Location: Remote 🏢 Company: UniPro Foodservice / National Distribution Alliance 👥 Team: National Distribution Alliance — reports to the President of NDA ✈️ Travel: Up to 15%, including overnight You’ve managed accounts. You’ve built relationships. You’ve solved problems when the stakes were high. But what if your next role wasn’t simply about managing a book of business? What if you were the person connecting customers, independent distributors, suppliers, and internal teams — turning relationships into growth, strategy into execution, and data into decisions? That’s the seat we’re looking to fill. National Distribution Alliance is looking for a National Account Manager to lead the strategic growth, retention, and overall success of assigned NDA customers and member organizations. This isn’t a “check in with the customer and update the CRM” role. It’s a strategic relationship leadership role — one where you’ll develop account strategies, identify growth opportunities, manage performance and risk, lead complex initiatives, and bring the right people together to deliver measurable value. And if you know foodservice, understand how businesses operate, and know how to earn trust at every level of an organization, we’d like to meet you. 🎯 What You’ll Actually Own Own the relationship. Serve as the primary strategic point of contact for assigned customers and members, building trusted relationships from operational teams to executive leadership. Build the strategy. Develop account plans that connect customer, member, and NDA priorities — including growth opportunities, KPIs, risks, and action plans. Find the growth. Identify opportunities to expand relationships, increase program utilization, strengthen member engagement, and demonstrate the value NDA brings through products, services, and strategic initiatives. Make the numbers tell the story. Monitor account KPIs, analyze business performance, identify trends and gaps, and turn insights into actionable strategies that improve results, retention, satisfaction, and overall account health. Lead the conversation. Develop and deliver customer and member business reviews that move beyond reporting the numbers to explaining what they mean — and what should happen next. Drive strategic initiatives. Lead initiatives such as SKU rationalization, assortment optimization, program implementation, communication strategies, regional expansion, and other business priorities. Solve the complicated stuff. Manage contracts, renewals, compliance, relationship risks, and complex business issues. Identify challenges early and negotiate solutions that work for all parties. Connect the dots. Coordinate NDA departments, member distributors, customers, suppliers, and external partners to keep strategic priorities moving from idea to execution. Be the executive in the room. Prepare and deliver presentations, business reviews, reports, and recommendations that clearly communicate performance, opportunities, risks, and priorities. Own the customer experience. Partner with Customer Experience and internal teams to ensure proactive communication, timely issue resolution, and a consistent, high-value experience. 🌟 What Success Looks Like You become a trusted strategic partner to your customers and members. Account plans aren’t sitting in a folder — they’re driving action. KPIs aren’t just being reported — they’re being used to identify opportunities and improve performance. Customer relationships are growing stronger. Programs are being adopted and utilized. Strategic initiatives are moving forward because you’ve brought the right people together. And when a customer or member has a complex business challenge, you’re one of the first people they call. 🧠 What You Bring to the Table The non-negotiables: A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, with at least 5 years of progressive experience in foodservice distribution, account management, sales, customer success, or an adjacent industry. Experience managing complex customer relationships and developing strategies that support retention and growth. Strong business acumen and the ability to analyze performance, KPIs, and customer needs and turn insights into action. Excellent verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal, negotiation, and collaboration skills. The ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of an organization. Strong organization and follow-through, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and strategic initiatives. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, along with familiarity with CRM and business management systems. Willingness and ability to travel overnight up to 15%. Extra gold stars for: 7+ years of relevant experience, particularly managing national, multi-unit, or enterprise-level accounts. Experience in foodservice distribution, a buying group/GPO, manufacturing, supplier, or a related industry. Experience leading cross-functional initiatives, contract negotiations, renewals, compliance, or complex account escalations. Experience developing executive-level business reviews, strategic account plans, KPI reporting, and customer presentations. 💡 Why This Role Is Special This isn’t just account management. It’s about being the person who understands the customer, understands the business, understands the data — and knows how to bring all three together. You’ll work across customers, independent distributors, suppliers, and NDA teams, helping align different priorities around shared business objectives. You’ll have the opportunity to influence growth, strengthen relationships, improve customer and member engagement, and help shape how NDA delivers value. Most importantly, you’ll have the opportunity to become more than a point of contact. You’ll become a trusted business advisor. If you’re ready to take ownership of strategic relationships, turn opportunities into action, and make an impact across the foodservice distribution landscape— Let’s talk. Qualifications:
