Role Description: 

The Marketing Operations Specialist will join ShipBob's growing Revenue Operations organization and support the Marketing Operations function by owning reporting, campaign operations, marketing analytics, attribution, CRM data quality, and marketing technology optimization. This role will help scale ShipBob's marketing operations capabilities by delivering trusted reporting, improving operational processes, optimizing our GTM technology stack, and enabling data-informed business choices across the business. 

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about using data and technology to improve business outcomes. This role reports to the Director, Marketing Automation & Intelligence. 

What you’ll do: 

  • Support the administration, optimization, and ongoing maintenance of Salesforce, HubSpot, and other GTM systems, ensuring accurate system configuration, data integrity, and operational excellence. 
  • Support campaign operations, including campaign setup, quality assurance, campaign taxonomy adherence, reporting, and performance measurement. 
  • Support lead lifecycle management, campaign member management, facilitate routing validation, and CRM data integrity initiatives. 
  • Assist with marketing attribution by validating campaign data, improving attribution accuracy, and supporting attribution reporting. 
  • Own the preparation, validation, and distribution of Marketing and GTM Weekly Business Review (WBR) reporting, ensuring all metrics are accurate, complete, and delivered on time. 
  • Build, maintain, and optimize dashboards, recurring reports, self-service reporting, and ad hoc analyses across Salesforce, HubSpot, Power BI, and other GTM systems. 
  • Monitor marketing funnel performance, campaign effectiveness, pipeline generation, attribution, conversion rates, and key GTM KPIs, proactively identifying trends, risks, and opportunities. 
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, Revenue Operations, and Business Development to define reporting requirements, KPI frameworks, and measurement strategies. 
  • Serve as a trusted analytical partner by translating business questions into actionable insights and recommendations. 
  • Perform data audits and maintain CRM data quality through governance, enrichment, deduplication, and ongoing maintenance across Salesforce and HubSpot. 
  • Document reporting definitions, business rule, and standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and operational excellence. 
  • Identify opportunities to automate reporting, streamline operational processes, and improve the scalability of Marketing Operations. 
  • Leverage AI and automation tools to improve reporting efficiency, optimize marketing operations workflows, and increase team productivity. 
  • Support strategic Marketing Operations initiatives and partner with Revenue Operations on cross-functional GTM initiatives.
  • Other duties/responsibilities as necessary.  

What you’ll bring to the table: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. 
  • 2–5 years of experience in Marketing Operations, Revenue Operations, Business Analytics, Marketing Analytics, or a related analytical role. 
  • Hands-on experience supporting Salesforce CRM and marketing automation platforms (HubSpot or Marketo), including campaign management, reporting, workflows, and marketing operations processes. 
  • Experience building dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce Reports & Dashboards, or similar BI tools. 
  • Intermediate SQL skills preferred. 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights. 
  • Experience supporting marketing attribution, campaign reporting, lead lifecycle management, and funnel analytics. 
  • Experience supporting CRM administration, data quality, governance, and process optimization. 
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. 
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner effectively across Marketing, Sales, and Revenue Operations. 
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, eCommerce, logistics, or high-growth technology companies is preferred. 
  • Experience with marketing attribution platforms (e.g., Marketo Measure/Bizible), marketing automation, or GTM technologies is a plus.
