IT Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Daymark Health’s IT Manager, you will own the technology backbone that keeps our corporate teams and in-market care teams running smoothly every day. You’ll be equally comfortable architecting secure, scalable IT infrastructure and sitting side-by-side with a Nurse to troubleshoot a laptop or EHR access issue. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to build IT operations in a fast-moving healthcare startup – balancing the rigor required to protect patient data with the responsiveness our clinical and operational teams need to deliver great care.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Design, implement, and maintain Daymark’s IT infrastructure, including hardware, networks, endpoint management, identity and access management, and core business systems. Partner with Clinical Operations, Product, People, and Market Operations leadership to understand technology needs in the field and translate them into practical, scalable IT solutions.
• Evaluate, implement, and manage relationships with IT support partners and vendors ensuring tools are cost-effective, secure, and fit for purpose as Daymark scales into new markets.
• Serve as a hands-on resource for employees, resolving hardware, software, network, and access issues quickly and with a service mindset whether that’s remote troubleshooting or, when needed, in-person support at our regional offices.
• Own and continuously improve IT security practice, including endpoint security, access controls, and data protection, to safeguard patient information and meet the requirements of a highly regulated industry. Be a key owner of our HIPAA compliance management, SOC2 audits, Disaster recovery plans, as well as Cybersecurity and response management.
• Build and run repeatable, well-documented processes for provisioning and de-provisioning equipment, systems access, and accounts for new hires and departing team members across both corporate and clinical roles.
• Develop, document, and enforce IT policies and procedures (including acceptable use, data handling, and incident response) that hold up to the scrutiny of a highly regulated environment.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Experience. 5+ years of experience in IT management, systems administration, or a related technical role, including experience supporting both corporate environments and a multi-site or field-based workforce.
• Regulated Industry Background. Experience working in a highly regulated industry is required; experience in healthcare (e.g., HIPAA-regulated environments, EHR systems, clinical technology) is strongly preferred.
• Technical Depth. Strong working knowledge of endpoint management, networking fundamentals, identity and access management, and IT security best practices.
• Service Orientation. You genuinely enjoy solving problems for people, not just systems. You’re comfortable being the person someone calls when their laptop won’t connect to the VPN, and you bring the same care to that interaction as you do to infrastructure design.
• Builder Mentality. Comfortable creating IT processes, policies, and documentation from scratch in a startup environment where things aren’t always fully built out yet.
• Comfort with Ambiguity & Travel. Willing to travel periodically to support regional care teams in person as needed, and comfortable adapting as Daymark’s footprint grows into new markets.
• Communication. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical colleagues across clinical and corporate teams.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

$130,000 to $150,000 compensation, depending on experience.
