Account Executive, Technology Partnerships

Harbor Compliance is hiring an Account Executive, Tech Partnerships to open and close one of our largest distribution opportunities: tech integration partnerships with the platforms small and mid-sized businesses already run on. You'll run sophisticated, multi-stakeholder partnership deals from first conversation through embedded go-live, working closely with a dedicated PoC (proof-of-concept) engineer to bring integrations to life during the sales cycle. This is a senior individual contributor role with full ownership of a partnership pipeline and real influence over how Harbor connects with the broader ecosystem our customers already use.

Responsibilities

• Own the tech-integration pipeline.  Source, qualify, and close partnership agreements with platform companies across ERP, accounting, HR/payroll, and vertical SaaS.
• Lead the full deal cycle: identifying executive sponsors, driving technical fit conversations, aligning on business model (referral, OEM, embedded, or resell), and managing through legal and signature.
• Partner closely with our product and engineering teams to build, and demo integration proofs of concept during the sales cycle.
• Maintain rigorous CRM hygiene and keep deal strategy and next steps clearly documented.
• Run regular forecast and pipeline reviews with sales leadership.
• Partner with Product to surface partner-driven roadmap input and feature requests, backed by a clear business case.
• Represent Harbor at platform partner events and conferences.

Requirements

• 6+ years of closing experience in B2B SaaS, including at least 3 years focused on tech/platform/integration partnerships, with a track record of larger embedded and OEM type deals. 
• Strong understanding of API economics, deal registration, revenue-share models, and OEM vs. embedded vs. referral partnership structures.
• Fluency in a modern sales methodology (MEDDPICC, Force Management, Challenger, or similar).
• Strong technical acumen — comfortable reading API documentation and integration architecture, and translating between engineering and partner stakeholders without hand-holding.
• Advanced CRM proficiency (HubSpot or Salesforce), comfortable with technical sales tooling and using AI tools for research, deal review, and content drafting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication — able to write a clean partner-facing proposal or exec summary, and run confident conversations with a partner's CEO or CTO.

Nice to have

• Experience in compliance, legal services, financial services, or another regulated B2B industry.
• Experience selling into or partnering with major SaaS platforms. 
• Experience working directly with Product and Engineering teams on API/integration roadmap decisions.

Compensation: 

Harbor Compliance’s base salary range for this role is listed below. Compensation at the time of offer is based on factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of Harbor Compliance’s total compensation package. Other benefits may include health benefits, flexible paid time off, parental leave, fertility and adoption assistance, 401(k), and educational reimbursement. Note that the salary range and benefits apply only to U.S.-based candidates.
