The Chief Advancement Officer serves as a senior executive leader responsible for advancing the organization's public presence, fundraising strength, and organizational sustainability. This role oversees development, communications, finance, and operations while partnering with the Co-Executive Director to align strategic goals with the organization's mission.
Manage a portfolio of individual and institutional donors to grow sustainable philanthropic support through cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. Develop compelling fundraising materials and coordinate grant reporting to support youth-led climate litigation.
Support strategic legal campaigns to compel federal government action on science-based climate recovery policies. This includes educating members of Congress, tracking legislation, and coordinating advocacy materials and meetings.
Law clerks support legal efforts in local, state, federal, and international climate actions. Responsibilities include conducting research, drafting legal documents, and assisting with trial preparation and document review.
