Equality Now

Lead Equality Now's programming and advocacy efforts across West Africa to achieve legal and systemic change for women and girls. Manage regional partnerships, oversee program delivery, and represent the organization at AU, UN, and sub-regional forums.

The consultant will develop foundational documents and a three-year strategic plan for a Regional Youth Coalition on Gender Equality and Legal Reform. This includes creating a conceptual framework, conducting stakeholder mapping, and facilitating a validation workshop.

The consultant will analyze evidentiary issues and challenges in sexual violence cases from a human rights perspective to inform a global guide. This includes identifying categories of evidence, proposing reforms, and providing jurisdiction-specific examples of best practices.

The consultant will provide strategic in-country advocacy and technical support to advance legal and policy reforms regarding gender-based violence in Kyrgyzstan. Key tasks include engaging government authorities, drafting policy recommendations, and developing an advocacy action plan for 2026-2027.
