WE'RE LOOKING FOR A VICE PRESIDENT, MID MARKET SALES

The Vice President, Mid Market Sales is a strategic leader responsible for driving revenue growth and market penetration within mid-market segments. This role oversees the Mid Market Sales teams, develops sales strategies, and ensures consistent achievement of revenue targets, while collaborating cross-functionally with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to optimize sales performance and enhance customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is an experienced sales leader with a proven track record of building and scaling mid-market sales teams in high-growth SaaS environments.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to mid market accounts and key market segments
• Identify emerging market trends and adjust sales strategies accordingly
• Monitor the competitive landscape and guide Account Executive strategy to differentiate AbsenceSoft's value proposition
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Mid Market Account Executives and sales leaders to achieve revenue and growth targets
• Coach, develop, and hire high-performing Account Executives, supporting onboarding and continuous skill development to build a strong talent pipeline
• Partner with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to identify growth opportunities and expand account penetration
• Build and maintain relationships with senior executives and key decision-makers in target organizations
• Track sales performance metrics, provide forecasts, and report results to executive leadership
• Implement and reinforce standardized sales processes, methodologies, and best practices across the teams
• Represent AbsenceSoft at industry events, conferences, and client engagements to strengthen market presence

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise or mid market sales within SaaS or technology companies, including leadership of sales teams
• Proven track record of leading leaders to meet or exceed revenue targets in complex B2B sales environments
• Strong executive presence with experience engaging C-level and senior leaders
• Expertise in sales strategy, pipeline management, and forecasting
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development capabilities
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills

Preferred:

• Experience in HR technology, leave management, or enterprise SaaS solutions
• Familiarity with scaling mid-market sales teams in high-growth companies
• Experience aligning cross-functional teams to drive account growth and customer success
• Advanced business degree (MBA) preferred
• Formal training in or understanding of sales methodologies like MEDDICC, Challenger, or Sandler

Final compensation is determined based on a candidate's relevant experience, skills, education, and geographic location. This position is also eligible for annual bonus.
