The Talent Acquisition Manager leads talent acquisition strategy and staffing execution for Company-Owned field operations. This role manages a team of recruiters supporting assigned regions and oversees seasonal staffing readiness, recruiting systems, and vendor partnerships. Working cross-functionally, the TA manager drives timely hiring, consistent processes, effective issue resolution, and alignment with business workforce needs.
What you'll do here:
Talent Strategy & Sourcing
Develop and implement sourcing strategies to meet forecasted staffing needs.
Identify recruiting tools and targeted channels to attract active and passive candidates.
Build and strengthen the employment brand through internal and external resources.
Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership
Lead the COO Talent Team through coaching, mentoring, payroll oversight, and escalation resolution.
Lead cross-departmental HR and recruiting initiatives.
Partner with FP&A and HRBPs on ADM and DM hiring, compensation, employee referral and bonus reporting.
Field Recruiting Support & Communication
Partner with COO field leaders to understand recruiting needs and resolve regional staffing issues.
Communicate hiring timelines, onboarding blackout dates, system updates, compliance requirements, and seasonal milestones.
Consistently participate in office hour calls, recruiting calls, and Teams communications to reinforce expectations and drive consistent execution.
Recruiting Systems & Vendor Management
Manage CareerPlug and Indeed vendor relationships, sourcing effectiveness, sponsorship performance, and return on investment.
Oversee CareerPlug requisition setup, system maintenance, audits, and UKG Onboarding integrations.
Monitor recruiting tickets, the Recruiting Inbox, and Teams channels to ensure timely issue resolution.
Reporting & Analytics
Partner with HRIS to analyze Staffing Funnel and recruiting metrics.
Evaluate hiring funnel movement and recruiting performance to inform business decisions.
Training, Documentation & Seasonal Readiness
Develop and deliver recruiting and onboarding training, job aids, SOPs, templates, checklists, trackers, and process documentation.
Lead seasonal staffing readiness across recruiter execution, requisition strategy, candidate pipelines, reporting, issue resolution, and field communication.
Skills you’ll bring for success:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business preferred
5+ years of experience in high volume recruiting, human resources, or retail management
2+ years of experience in a leadership or lead role preferred
Ability to demonstrate highly proficient Excel skills with the ability to design formulas, pivot tables, manipulate data, and work with large data sets
Experience consulting/advising with leaders on recruiting, interviewing, and selecting candidates preferred
Experience with continuous improvement and agile practices
Experience managing candidate pipelines and requisitions within an ATS.
