AI Summary

You will own and grow insurer partnerships by building strong relationships and demonstrating the economic value of digital neurological rehabilitation solutions. The role involves turning one-off wins into scalable revenue streams and identifying new partnership opportunities within the healthcare sector.

nyra health builds the digital tools that make neurological rehabilitation work inside and outside clinic walls: myReha, the patient therapy app, and nyra insights, the clinician platform. 100+ clinics, 100K+ patients across DACH. 3Γ— MRR growth target for 2026. €20M Series A. Team of 30+, scaling to ~50 this year. Ownership, excellence and patients first: that is how we drive progress together.

Sales at nyra. To grow the impact of our digital solutions for patients, we are already present across 4 strong fronts that compound: therapeutic practices, rehab clinics, insurers, and the DRV rehabilitation and aftercare pathway, and every win in one opens the next. Now we are expanding our sales engine, and looking for more sales talent to drive that progress further with us. You own the insurer channel as part of a small, fast-moving and driven commercial team.

Your role. Concretely, you own our insurer partnerships: deepening the ones we have and opening new use-cases with them. Our therapy is already reimbursed by 28+ insurers reaching 40M+ insured lives across DACH; the opportunity now is to turn that reach into repeatable, growing partnership revenue that makes therapy free at the point of care for more people recovering from neurological conditions. For this role we are open to having new colleagues in Vienna or remotely anywhere in Austria and Germany.

What you'll work on

  • Grow existing partners: be the trusted lead for our insurer (Kassen) accounts and grow them.

  • Make the economic case: build and land the ROI and health-economics argument that gets insurance decision-makers to yes.

  • Build scalable revenue: turn one-off wins into repeatable, scalable partnership mechanics.

  • Own the relationships: build real relationships with decision-makers and become the partner they call first.

  • Open new ground: find and open new partnership angles beyond the standard playbook.

What you bring

Must-have

  • Someone partners trust and buy from: proactive, pragmatic, a strong communicator who builds rapport and drives deals to a close.

  • Self-driven deals: several years in BD, partnerships or complex sales, with deals you personally took from first contact to close.

  • Insurance experience: you have worked in or sold to the health-insurance space (statutory or private insurers / Kassen, or the reimbursement system), and you understand how these partners think and decide.

  • Value and economics: you argue value with ROI and health-economics logic to senior decision-makers, and get up to speed on new angles fast.

  • Professional German proficiency level (C1+).

  • You work comfortably in English day-to-day; it is our company language.

  • AI-native: you already use AI across your workflow, for partner and market research, outreach, prep and admin.

Nice to have

  • An existing network among insurer (Kassen) decision-makers, or SaaS / health-economics experience.

Why nyra

  • Scale the channel that makes therapy free at the point of care: insurer partnerships are how nyra reaches millions, and you own that growth.

  • Patients first, always: everything we build is measured by patient outcomes, not engagement metrics. You are selling therapy, not features.

  • Ownership & direct access: founders, ML engineers and practicing clinicians are in the same room, decisions move fast, and you are part of them.

  • Transparent, direct culture: open communication and honest feedback are how we operate.

  • AI-native: every team member has Claude Pro and uses AI daily; in sales that means AI in your research, outreach and prep from day one.

  • Some of the best Mario Kart drivers in the Austrian startup scene πŸ˜‰

What we offer

  • Top-of-market salary

  • Phantom stock options: every hire shares in the upside

  • Wiener Linien Jahreskarte (Vienna-based)

  • Swapfiets (Vienna-based)

  • Learning & development budget

  • Claude Pro + AI tools

  • Vienna First District office with regular team events

The process

  1. Intro call (~30 min): background, motivation, the role.

  2. Case study + meet the sales team (~45 min): a practical BD exercise, discussed with the team you would work with.

  3. Founders' interview (~30 min).
