Overview

Facebook is KCL’s largest traffic driver and a critical lever for both audience growth and revenue. As the Manager, Facebook Growth & Engagement, you will own the strategy, execution, and performance of this channel end-to-end. This role is equal parts strategic and operational: you’ll lead a high-volume, always-on content engine while continuously optimizing performance through testing, data analysis, and rapid iteration.

You’ll manage a team responsible for content distribution and engagement, while partnering cross-functionally with content, product, and marketing teams to ensure Facebook is effectively driving business outcomes. In a fast-moving, algorithm-driven environment, you’ll balance real-time decision-making with long-term strategy—identifying scalable growth levers, improving monetization efficiency, and ensuring KCL remains competitive as the platform evolves.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own Facebook as a high-volume, performance-driven channel responsible for driving traffic and supporting revenue at scale. Define and evolve the channel strategy across content distribution, engagement, and monetization with a focus on maximizing clicks, out-clicks, and reach. Identify and scale repeatable growth levers, turning successful experiments into standardized playbooks.

  • Own day-to-day performance against core KPIs, including clicks, out-clicks, engagement, and reach. Build and operate a continuous testing roadmap across post timing, format, creative, and messaging. Translate data into clear, actionable insights and make fast, informed decisions in a real-time environment. Establish reporting systems that provide visibility at both the post and channel level, and foster a strong test-and-learn culture across the team.

  • Manage and develop a team responsible for operating a high-volume Facebook channel. Build workflows that support posting at scale (4+ posts per hour) while maintaining quality and accuracy. Create clear accountability structures, coach team members on performance ownership and content instincts, and step in as needed during high-priority or high-volume moments.

  • Oversee engagement strategy and execution across user-facing touch points, including comment moderation, direct messaging, and support workflows. Ensure a responsive, high-quality, and brand-aligned user experience. Act as an escalation point for complex or sensitive interactions, and lead the growth and engagement strategy for Facebook Groups, emerging platforms and external communities. Identify opportunities to scale engagement through automation without compromising brand voice.

  • Own the execution and performance of monetization strategies on Facebook. Partner with content and discovery teams to amplify revenue-driving content and optimize post cadence, format, and distribution. Oversee sponsored and boosted content execution, ensuring campaigns deliver against performance goals. Continuously refine how monetized content is presented to maximize performance while maintaining user trust.  Analyze performance data to provide actionable insights that inform content prioritization and monetization opportunities.

  • Serve as the primary point of accountability for Facebook performance and user sentiment across the organization. Partner with content, product, sales, and marketing teams to align on priorities and ensure Facebook supports broader business goals. Influence content strategy through performance insights, and proactively identify and resolve gaps in user experience, tracking, or platform functionality.
