Role Overview

Your efforts will directly contribute to the company's expansion in Italy, Spain, and Portugal.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to grow the merchant acquiring business across Southern Europe.

  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of new merchants, focusing on e-commerce, digital businesses, SaaS, and retail.

  • Generate outbound business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and referrals.

  • Identify merchant needs and position the company's payment solutions as the preferred choice.

  • Lead commercial negotiations, including pricing and contractual agreements.

  • Manage the merchant onboarding process in collaboration with internal teams.

  • Maintain accurate pipeline management, CRM updates, forecasting, and sales reporting.

  • Represent the company at industry conferences and networking events.

  • Monitor local market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of B2B sales or business development experience within payments, merchant acquiring, fintech, PSP, e-commerce, or merchant services.

  • Proven experience selling card acquiring solutions to merchants.

  • Strong understanding of the payments ecosystem, including transaction flows and compliance fundamentals.

  • Knowledge of local payment methods and trends within Southern Europe.

  • Demonstrated ability to independently build and manage an outbound sales pipeline.

  • Existing network of merchants and industry decision-makers is essential.

  • Experience working with cross-border merchants and European-licensed payment structures is advantageous.

  • Strong CRM discipline with a structured approach to reporting and forecasting.

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Languages: English.

  • Experience in fintech.
