Overview:

As a Sales Development Representative at Umbrella BPO, you will play a crucial role in driving our sales efforts by identifying and qualifying potential customers. You will be the first point of contact for prospects, helping to generate new business opportunities and contributing to the overall growth of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Generation:
     
    • Identify potential customers through various channels including online research, social media, and networking.
    • Generate new business opportunities by reaching out to prospects via phone, email, and social media.
  2. Qualification:
     
    • Qualify leads by understanding their needs and determining their potential fit with our services.
    • Conduct initial discovery calls to gather information and assess the prospect’s interest.
  3. Pipeline Management:
     
    • Manage leads through the sales pipeline by setting appointments, following up on leads, and tracking progress towards meeting sales goals.
    • Use CRM software to maintain accurate records of all interactions and activities.
  4. Collaboration:
     
    • Work closely with the sales team to develop strategies for reaching sales targets.
    • Collaborate with marketing to ensure alignment on lead generation campaigns and messaging.
  5. Market Research:
     
    • Stay up-to-date on market trends, competition, and industry developments.
    • Provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams on market conditions and prospect needs.
  6. Reporting:
     
    • Provide regular reports on sales activities and results to management.
    • Analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  7. Adaptability:
     
    • Be able to adapt and adjust to what the business needs are.

Qualifications:

  • Professional English fluency
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in sales or customer service
  • Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with potential clients
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Nice to have)
