Recruitment Account Manager / Talent Partner (Legal)



Role Overview


We are seeking an experienced recruitment professional to act as a dedicated Talent Partner for a portfolio of legal clients. The successful candidate will manage relationships with 5-6 law firms, becoming their trusted recruitment adviser and primary point of contact. This is a consultative, relationship-led role combining account management, talent mapping, market intelligence, candidate assessment, and executive search activities. The successful individual will work closely with legal clients to identify, attract and assess qualified solicitors while providing strategic recruitment advice and market insights. Clients engage on a retained recruitment model, requiring a proactive, high-service approach and a genuine commitment to delivering long-term recruitment solutions rather than transactional placements.



Key Responsibilities



Manage and develop relationships with a portfolio of law firm clients.

Act as the client's primary recruitment adviser and trusted point of contact.

Deliver retained recruitment projects for solicitor and legal professional appointments.

Conduct talent mapping and market research using Codex Edge and LinkedIn.

Identify and approach high-quality passive candidates.

Conduct competency-based and behavioural interviews.

Utilise psychometric assessment tools where appropriate.

Provide regular market intelligence reports, including competitor activity, talent movement and local market trends.

Maintain accurate CRM and candidate records.

Manage multiple assignments and stakeholder relationships simultaneously.

Deliver a consistently high level of communication and service to both clients and candidates.



Ideal Candidate Profile



Essential Experience



Minimum 5 years' recruitment experience.

Proven track record recruiting qualified professionals.

Previous experience recruiting solicitors or within the legal sector strongly preferred.

Strong account management and client relationship experience.

Experience of headhunting and passive candidate generation.

Experience conducting detailed candidate assessments and interviews.

Comfortable managing multiple client relationships simultaneously.

Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and CRM systems.
