This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.

Payment Operations Analysts have an integral role in our Global Payments Department. This position drives bottom-line impact through analyzing and summarizing transaction data from internal and various external payment providers, advising on and coordinating payment acceptance performance and cost improvement-related projects, assisting our internal teams with payment processing inquiries, and helping to enhance the customer experience when checking out with GoDaddy.

This is an exciting new role created to focus on improving the bottom line by closely scrutinizing payment processing costs. The Analyst will develop a detailed understanding of GoDaddy’s payment fees and processors, spearheading impactful cost-saving initiatives and collaborating with product and engineering teams to optimize payment systems. This role will directly impact GoDaddy's financial health and customer satisfaction, setting new standards for excellence in payments!

What you'll get to do...

  • Lead global programs to optimize payment performance and reduce processing-related costs through building requirements, measuring and reporting out status by delivering high-quality management-level reporting
  • Build and automate processes for analyzing and identifying global payment improvement opportunities
  • Manage the working relationships with payment cost vendors and global payment processing partners
  • Initiate and lead large-scale projects with a detailed breakout of the tasks including financial modeling of impact
  • Join forces with analytics and product teams to build the foundation needed to analyze payment cost improvements and drive actionable optimizations
  • Ensure seamless payment experiences through rigorous end-to-end customer experience and platform QA testing and troubleshooting
  • Serve as the go-to expert for payment cost metrics, providing insights and solutions to internal teams and external partners
  • Supports additional efforts within the scope of the Payment Operations Department as necessary

Your experience should include...

  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, report creation, and financial modeling
  • 1+ year(s) project or program management of large-scale projects
  • Ability to write intermediate SQL and/or demonstrate an intermediate skill level in Excel
  • Ability to visualize findings with data
  • Ability to understand complex technical systems
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and high attention to detail

You might also have...

  • 2+ years in the payments industry with proven experience optimizing approval rates, costs, and/or other payment metrics related to transaction acceptance for digital and physical goods from the lens of an e-commerce merchant, Acquirer, or scheme
  • Experience with corporate Accounting standards
  • Ability to create reports in Tableau, Hadoop, or Alation
