The Partnership Manager is responsible for owning and growing a portfolio of outsourcing advisors, consultants, and broker relationships, serving as their primary point of contact and educating them on the organization's tech-forward approach to CX and back-office outsourcing. This role converts partner trust into a steady pipeline of qualified opportunities, managing the full referral lifecycle from intake through deal handoff.
What does a day in the life as a Partnership Manager look like?
Own and grow a portfolio of outsourcing advisors, consultants, and broker relationships, serving as their primary point of contact
Identify, recruit, and onboard new referral partners, building a pipeline of advisory firms aligned with target verticals and deal sizes
Manage the full referral lifecycle, from intake and qualification through handoff to sales, tracking deal status and closing the loop with the referring partner
Act as the internal advocate for partner-sourced deals, coordinating with sales, solutions, and marketing to ensure fast turnaround and a strong prospect experience
Educate partners on the organization's service offerings, technology stack, and points of differentiation so they can position the organization accurately and confidently
Develop and execute a partner engagement cadence, including regular check-ins, business reviews, newsletters, and co-marketing touchpoints
Represent the organization at industry events, advisor conferences, and networking functions to build visibility within the outsourcing advisory community
Track partner performance and referral pipeline in the CRM, reporting on partner-sourced pipeline, conversion rates, and revenue
Collaborate with marketing on partner enablement content, such as one-pagers, case studies, and battlecards, that helps advisors sell the organization into their client base
Provide market feedback to leadership on partner needs, competitive positioning, and emerging trends in the outsourcing advisory space
Adhere to company policies and procedures
Meet or exceed performance targets for related KPIs
Continuously improve knowledge of partnership strategy, channel development, and industry best practices through training and learning initiatives
Collaborate with other departments as needed
Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers and colleagues at all times

What are the required qualifications for a Partnership Manager?
Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in partnerships, channel sales, business development, or a client-facing role within a BPO, BPS, or outsourcing organization
Existing familiarity with the outsourcing advisory ecosystem, including sourcing advisors, consultants, and brokers, is strongly preferred
Proven track record of building and managing a referral or channel pipeline that translated into closed revenue
Strong relationship-management skills, with the ability to serve as the primary point of contact for an external network of influencers
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to represent a tech-forward BPO story credibly to sophisticated advisors
Experience with CRM tools, such as HubSpot or Salesforce, for pipeline and partner tracking
Self-directed and organized, with the ability to manage a multi-partner portfolio with minimal oversight
Willingness to travel for industry events and in-person partner meetings, estimated at 15% to 25%
Prior experience at a BPO, BPS, or CX outsourcing company, or on the advisory or consulting side of that ecosystem, a plus
Experience building partner enablement programs or co-marketing campaigns from the ground up, a plus
