About the Role
Softengine is looking for a driven, hunter-mentality New Business Account Executive to identify, engage, and close net-new customers for our SAP Business One and Acumatica ERP solutions. This is a full-cycle sales role: you'll build pipeline, run discovery and demos alongside our solution consultants, craft proposals, and close deals with business owners and operations/finance leaders at growing SMB and mid-market companies. This is a remote position open to candidates anywhere in the United States.
What You'll Do
- Prospect and generate new business pipeline through outbound outreach, referrals, partner channels, and inbound lead follow-up.
- Own the full sales cycle — qualification, discovery, solution scoping, demo coordination, proposal, negotiation, and close — for net-new SAP Business One and Acumatica opportunities.
- Partner closely with pre-sales/solution consultants to tailor product demonstrations to each prospect's industry and business needs.
- Build and maintain an accurate, healthy pipeline in our CRM, with reliable forecasting and activity reporting.
- Develop and execute territory and account-based prospecting plans to consistently meet or exceed quota.
- Represent Softengine at industry trade shows, webinars, and networking events to build brand awareness and generate leads.
- Stay current on ERP market trends, competitive positioning, and SAP Business One/Acumatica product capabilities.
- Pro-actively collaborate with Marketing on campaigns, outbound sequencing, and other pipeline generating GTM initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of B2B sales experience in a quota-carrying, new-business (“hunter”) role; ERP, SaaS, or complex business-software sales experience is a strong plus.
- A track record of consistently building pipeline from scratch and closing net-new logos.
- Strong consultative and discovery selling skills — comfortable diagnosing business problems and mapping them to a solution.
- Confidence navigating multi-stakeholder sales cycles with owners, CFOs, CTOs, controllers, and operations leaders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated and organized, with the discipline to manage a full pipeline independently in a remote environment.
- Proficiency with CRM and sales engagement tools.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Based in the United States, with willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings, trade shows, or team events.

The pay range for this role is:
100,000 - 130,000 USD per year (Base+Commission)
