Massed Compute is building a modern GPU cloud platform for AI and high-performance compute workloads. Customers choose us when they need high-performance infrastructure with more flexibility, visibility, and support than they get from traditional options. Our work sits at the intersection of AI infrastructure, product design, systems thinking, and customer obsession.
Massed Compute is looking for a Monetization Lead to help us turn customer demand and infrastructure usage into cleaner, smarter, and more scalable revenue.
You’ll work across product, engineering, finance, and go-to-market to improve how we price, package, meter, bill, collect, and analyze revenue. Part of the role is optimization: improving conversion, expansion, pricing logic, billing accuracy, and the overall economics of how we serve customers. Part of the role is systems-building: creating the tooling, controls, workflows, and reporting that help us detect, prevent, and resolve missed revenue opportunities before they become material problems.
This role sits at the intersection of monetization strategy, revenue operations, product systems, and billing operations. You should be comfortable moving between a spreadsheet, a pricing discussion, a product workflow, a billing process, and an investigation into why revenue that should have been captured was not.
This is a builder role. We’re looking for someone who can both improve today’s revenue engine and design the systems that make it more durable, visible, and scalable over time.
In your first 8-12 months, you will have improved the quality and visibility of our monetization systems, reduced revenue leakage, tightened billing operations, and helped us make better pricing and packaging decisions.
Critically, you will have built greater confidence that we are capturing the revenue we should, surfacing issues early, and continuously improving the economics and operational reliability of how we monetize the platform.
Own monetization operations. Help improve how Massed Compute prices, packages, meters, bills, and tracks customer usage and revenue.
Detect and prevent revenue leakage. Build systems, controls, and reporting that identify missed billing, usage-capture gaps, process failures, contract mismatches, and other sources of lost revenue.
Improve pricing and packaging. Partner with leadership and go-to-market teams on pricing logic, packaging design, discounting frameworks, and monetization experiments.
Strengthen billing operations. Improve invoice accuracy, workflow reliability, exception handling, dispute resolution, and internal handoffs across billing-related processes.
Build monetization reporting. Create dashboards, analyses, and recurring operating views that show monetization performance, anomalies, missed opportunities, and action items.
Investigate root causes. Trace revenue issues across systems and teams, determine what broke, quantify impact, and drive durable fixes.
Partner with product and engineering. Help ensure our product, infrastructure, and internal systems accurately capture the data required to monetize customer activity correctly.
Improve collections and cash realization support. Work with finance and operators to reduce friction between invoicing, customer understanding, and payment outcomes.
Create operating rigor. Establish clear definitions, ownership, workflows, and escalation paths across monetization and billing processes.
Build the function. Over time, help define the team, systems, and operating cadence needed for monetization to scale with the business.
You may be a good fit if you have…
Strong judgment in messy, cross-functional revenue problems where product behavior, usage data, customer contracts, pricing logic, and billing operations all interact
A track record of finding operational weak points and building systems that make revenue processes more accurate and reliable
The ability to move comfortably between analytical work, systems thinking, process design, and execution
Strong quantitative instincts around pricing, unit economics, revenue drivers, and operational performance
The ability to investigate problems deeply, identify root causes, and translate them into concrete fixes
Comfort working across product, engineering, finance, and commercial teams without relying on formal authority
High attention to detail, especially where small errors can create meaningful revenue consequences
Strong ownership and follow-through; you do not let important operational gaps sit unresolved
Good instincts for where automation, controls, and AI can create leverage in back-office and commercial workflows
Fluency with AI tools and excitement about using them to improve analysis, workflow design, and process automation
Typically 6-12+ years of professional experience in monetization, revenue operations, pricing, billing operations, finance operations, business operations, product operations, or a similarly high-responsibility role. We care more about scope and results than years of experience.
Experience at a high-growth technology company, rapidly scaling startup, infrastructure business, or similarly demanding environment
Experience owning or materially improving pricing systems, billing operations, monetization analytics, quote-to-cash workflows, or revenue assurance processes
Experience working with technical systems and cross-functional partners across product, engineering, finance, and go-to-market teams
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Bonus points if you…
Understand usage-based billing, infrastructure monetization, or the practical challenges of monetizing technical products
Have experience with revenue leakage prevention, billing operations, or quote-to-cash process design
Have built dashboards, alerting, or exception-management systems that helped teams catch problems before revenue was lost
Are fluent with AI tools such as Claude, Codex, and related workflow automation tools
Have a background in consulting, banking, investing, finance, or analytics paired with evidence you can own execution inside an operating environment
We are a lean, ambitious team operating in one of the most important technology markets in the world. If you want ownership, pace, and the opportunity to do career-defining work alongside practical, high-agency teammates, MassedCompute is a great place to build.
