Job Overview: The Head of Demand Generation will play a critical role in our client's organization, a cloud-based fundraising platform. This remote position is essential for driving demand from the right organizations, owning the top of the funnel, and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies. The role involves performance marketing, demand generation, and paid media, focusing on core customer acquisition channels. This leader will work closely with the Head of Partnerships and Head of Design to develop and execute effective marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute demand generation strategies to drive top-of-funnel growth.
  • Manage performance marketing, including SEO, paid media, and direct media.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Partnerships to leverage events and email lists for lead generation.
  • Design and implement email marketing campaigns targeting core customer acquisition channels.
  • Provide feedback and direction to the design team for marketing materials.
  • Hire and manage a team member focused on paid media.
  • Analyze conversion rates and optimize campaigns for better performance.
  • Travel once a quarter for 2-day trips to attend key events and meetings.
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve marketing goals.
Requirements include: Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Experience:
  • Extensive experience in performance marketing and demand generation.
  • Proven track record in managing paid media campaigns and driving top-of-funnel growth.
  • Experience with SEO, direct media, and email marketing.
  • Experience in conversion rate optimization.
Skills:
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics and data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively drive initiatives.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
Knowledge:
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing strategies, tools, and best practices.
