The Growth Marketing Manager will own the performance and scaling of direct-to-consumer acquisition channels, including paid search, social, and organic partnerships. They will manage acquisition budgets, optimize conversion and attribution signals, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive enrollments and contribution margin.
Healthcare.com is a healthcare technology company building smarter ways to connect people and partners with the coverage, care, and solutions they need.
We’re three businesses, one company. Through Marketplace, Pivot Health, and TrustRx, our work spans health insurance marketplaces, flexible health coverage, and pharmacy, giving us more ways to solve meaningful problems across the healthcare ecosystem.
Healthcare doesn’t stand still, and neither do we. We’re curious, collaborative, and always looking for better ways to solve problems, use technology, and make an impact.
The Growth Marketing Manager is a newly created role responsible for growing Pivot Health’s direct-to-consumer business across every channel that can produce profitable enrollments while assisting with B2B growth. Reporting to the Director of Insurance Marketing, this person owns the growth agenda for the channel: finding where traction exists, proving where it might, and scaling what works.
Day-to-day management of paid search sits with an established agency partner. This role sets the direction that partner works against, and spends the balance of its time making sure our conversion and attribution signal is accurate across paid, organic, email, and phone; testing new channels against a defined bar; and building the partner relationships that open new sources of volume.
This is a role for a growth marketer rather than a channel specialist. You will be measured on enrollments and contribution margin, not on activity, and you will have real latitude to decide where the next dollar and the next experiment go.
Channel Growth & Scaling
Own the performance of paid search and paid social as channels — setting targets, allocating budget, and holding the agency partner accountable for volume, cost-per-acquisition, and return on ad spend
Manage acquisition budgets across channels, continuously reallocating spend toward the highest-performing sources
Direct campaign, keyword, audience, creative, and landing page strategy with the agency partner, and own the decisions that follow from what the tests show
Partner with Finance and Analytics to forecast spend, model unit economics, and hit blended CAC targets
Measurement & Attribution
Own the accuracy of the conversion and revenue signal returned to advertising platforms across paid, organic, email, and phone
Coordinate with Data and Engineering to specify, prioritize, and validate tracking work — including offline conversion uploads, click-ID capture, and how conversion value is defined
Own call attribution through Invoca end to end, connecting calls to dispositions, enrollments, and economic outcomes, and returning those events to the originating platform
Reconcile platform-reported performance against the internal source of record, and resolve the differences rather than reporting around them
Translate marketing requirements into scoped engineering tickets and carry them through to verified delivery
Organic & Partner Growth
Develop and execute the SEO strategy to grow organic traffic and reduce dependence on paid channels
Source, negotiate, and manage affiliate, referral, and content partnerships — owning them from first conversation through to profitable volume
Evaluate and onboard new acquisition partners, lead aggregators, and eCommerce sources
Develop organic social and content-led channels as potential growth surfaces, working with the Content Marketing Manager on execution
Testing & New Channel Development
Run a structured program of channel tests, defining the traction threshold and the measurement approach for each one before it launches
Make a clear scale, iterate, or stop recommendation on every test, and document what was learned either way
Define acquisition KPIs and build reporting that ties channel spend to enrolled members and lifetime value
Set the strategic direction for conversion rate optimization in partnership with the Director of Insurance Marketing, and work with the Content Marketing Manager to ensure a seamless hand-off from traffic to conversion
Identify and act on new channel opportunities to diversify and de-risk the acquisition mix
Collaboration
Partner with Lifecycle Marketing to align acquisition targeting with retention and lifetime-value goals
Work cross-functionally with Product, Operations, and Analytics to align acquisition strategy with company priorities
Contribute the consumer perspective to Pivot Health’s positioning, messaging, and brand direction
Contribute to the Growth & Marketing roadmap and quarterly operating plan
5+ years of growth marketing experience spanning multiple acquisition channels, with genuine depth in at least two of them
A track record of taking a channel from unproven to producing — you have found traction somewhere that did not have it before, and can explain how you knew it was real
Demonstrated success owning acquisition budgets and hitting CPA, ROAS, or CAC targets in a high-volume, direct-to-consumer environment
Deeply analytical — comfortable with data, attribution, funnel metrics, and building the business case for spend
Comfortable directing agencies and contractors — you have held an outside partner to a number and know the difference between activity and results
Experience building partnerships or affiliate relationships, including sourcing and negotiating them, not only managing them once signed
Working fluency with Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta, and web analytics tools (e.g., GA4) — enough to set strategy and interrogate results, without needing to be the person in the account every day
Able to work directly with data and engineering teams on measurement problems — scoping requirements, prioritizing them, and validating that what shipped actually works
Self-starter comfortable operating without a fully built infrastructure and building programs from the ground up
Excellent communicator and collaborator across internal and external stakeholders
Experience marketing insurance, financial services, or other regulated/consideration-driven products
Familiarity with lead generation, lead aggregators, and eCommerce/DTC acquisition models
Experience with affiliate, partnership, or business development motions in a consumer business
Hands-on exposure to conversion tracking, offline conversion imports, or call tracking platforms such as Invoca
Experience with the U65 / non-ACA insurance market
Prior work in a start-up, scale-up, or private equity-backed business
