Overview
NEAT Method is hiring a Senior Ecommerce Manager to oversee the day to day management and performance of our Shopify-based websites.
This is both a strategic and hands-on role. You'll manage the ecommerce roadmap and promo execution. You'll also build product pages, QA releases and keep the site running smoothly every day. We want someone who keeps their hands on the wheel at all times and spots problems before customers do. Most of their time should go to proactive, revenue-driving work rather than reporting on what already happened.
As our first dedicated ecommerce hire, you'll have a real growth opportunity. You'll lead our development agency through a full site re-platform and help shape the website as the front door to the whole NEAT business.
This role reports to the VP of Marketing.
Key Responsibilities
Channel Ownership & Growth
- Drive DTC and Trade ecommerce revenue, conversion rate, AOV and customer lifetime value, with accountability for channel performance.
- Partner with Product on the channel revenue forecast. Track pacing against it, and make sure the team knows when we're off track and why.
- Build and run the ecommerce roadmap. Prioritize initiatives by revenue impact across a multi-purpose site that serves DTC shoppers, Trade customers, service leads and Franchise Owners.
- Manage the promo calendar and how promotions run online. Partner with Product and Finance to balance revenue goals with margin and brand experience.
- Drive conversion rate optimization across product sales and all lead forms.
- Build and run an ongoing A/B testing and experimentation program. Set hypotheses, run tests, read results and roll out the winners.
- Own the Trade shopping experience and improve how Trade customers discover, order and reorder.
- Support the evaluation and launch of new sales channels, such as TikTok Shop and other emerging marketplaces.
- Help build the ecommerce function, including its processes, documentation and structure, as the channel scales.
Site Operations & Merchandising
- Manage daily website operations, including product and SKU setup, tagging, imagery, product detail pages and collection updates across all stores.
- Own merchandising: navigation, cross-sells, bundles and sets, and featured products aligned with launches and promotions. Use purchase data to inform how we merchandise.
- Audit the site regularly to make sure it's accurate. Fix broken links and verify inventory and pricing alignment.
- Proactively improve product and service presentation and the overall customer journey.
Site Performance & SEO
- Own site performance, including page speed, core web vitals, mobile experience and accessibility.
- Serve as one of the main contacts for our SEO agency. Own execution of on-site SEO across product pages, collections and site structure. Collaborate with the marketing team on content marketing initiatives.
Agency, Vendor & Technical Leadership
- Serve as day-to-day contact for our web development and UX agency. Prioritize tickets, manage scope and budget, track progress and make sure releases are on time and accurate.
- Help lead a full site re-platform, partnering with the agency on requirements, timeline and launch.
- Own the ecommerce app stack and vendor relationships. Evaluate, add and retire apps and integrations, and manage the costs.
- Create and maintain a QA process for all site updates, including checklists, testing protocols and release documentation. Keep release logs so the team can see what changed and when.
- Troubleshoot issues across our ecommerce tools and integrations, including Shopify, Thryv, Basin, Loop and Klaviyo. Coordinate directly with vendors when needed, and push for long-term fixes to recurring problems.
- Make sure the site's data layer, event tracking and analytics tags are accurate and consistent across all stores.
Franchise Owner Site
- Partner on improving the Franchise Owner shopping experience for all owners and their teams.
- Manage the owner site experience and use data to improve it for better engagement and conversion.
Reporting & Insights
- Report on channel performance in sales, conversion, AOV and LTV. Turn the data into clear recommendations and next steps.
- Partner with our analytics support team on recurring reporting so your time stays focused on driving growth.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the DTC Marketing Manager, who owns email, SMS and paid media. This role doesn't own those channels. It partners closely on them so acquisition, retention and site experience work together.
- Work with Product on new product launches, product data, merchandising, pricing tests and forecasting.
- Work with Operations, Supply Chain and CX on inventory syncs, stockouts, pre-orders and a smooth post-purchase experience.

- Shopify required. Shopify Plus preferred.
- Experience managing a site with multiple functions or audiences, and setting priorities between them using data.
- Experience managing outside development, UX or SEO agencies.
- Hands-on experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization.
- Comfortable seamlessly moving between strategy and execution.
- Strong project management and organizational skills; able to juggle multiple timelines and stakeholders.
- Keen eye for detail with proven ability to execute accurately and efficiently.
