We're looking for a highly-motivated, organized, and career-minded Finance - Business Manager to help us run our business with financial clarity and confidence. Your job duties will include overseeing our financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting by understanding the business strategies and ensuring the accuracy of our financial information, preparing financial reports, maintaining our general ledger, and optimizing our business with data-driven recommendations. In addition to advising on tax optimization strategies to drive better financial decisions to maximize long-term savings both internally and externally. You will oversee all aspects of employee relations including recruiting, onboarding, training, and play a key role in strategic planning and business administration. Ideal candidates are natural leaders, decision-makers, strong team players, detail-oriented and highly organized with analytical skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: • Manage human resources programs including employee benefits, training, and company evaluation and compensation • Develop and implement personnel policies and procedures, and advise on improvements • Play a key role in organizational policies, decision-making and strategic planning initiatives including business administration and annual budget • Direct the analysis of our company's financial information including financial transactions, profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and other documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations • Forecast revenue and analyze our profit margin to better determine the business' effectiveness • Perform regular business administration, financial reporting, and keep all financial records, financial documents, and accounting systems up to date • Make recommendations to improve the financial health of our organization • Direct & conduct internal auditing • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable • Establish accounting policies and procedures to ensure the business runs smoothly • Prepare all financial statements and bank reconciliations • Manage payroll duties to ensure employees are paid on time Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business management or related field, Master's degree preferred but not required • 3-5 years of experience as a finance or business manager leader • 5+ years of work experience in accounting services, financial services, or similar field • Passed the uniform CPA examination from the AICPA and possess a CPA certification in compliance with the state board of accountancy regulations • Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) • Excellent leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills • Excellent time management, problem-solving, and communication skills, both written and verbal • Experience with Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systems Compensation: $12 - $15 hourly
