As an Employee Benefits Account Manager, you'll play a critical role in helping clients navigate their employee benefits programs while delivering exceptional service and support throughout the client lifecycle. This is an opportunity to build trusted client relationships, lead complex renewal processes, and collaborate with producers, carriers, and internal team members to create effective benefits solutions.
You'll manage a portfolio of employee benefits clients, support retention and growth efforts, and help ensure a seamless experience from renewal planning through implementation and ongoing service. Your expertise, responsiveness, and attention to detail will directly contribute to client satisfaction and long-term success.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned employee benefits clients, delivering responsive and consultative service that strengthens long-term relationships.
- Lead renewal processes by gathering census data, coordinating carrier quotes, preparing analyses, and managing timelines to achieve successful outcomes.
- Coordinate open enrollment activities, employee education initiatives, and benefits administration programs that support a positive client experience.
- Partner with producers, benefit consultants, carriers, and internal teammates to deliver customized benefits solutions and seamless service.
- Prepare and review renewal analyses, contribution modeling, benchmarking data, and claims reporting to support informed client decision-making.
- Maintain accurate client records, policy documentation, and workflow activities while supporting retention, account growth, and cross-selling opportunities.

What You Bring
Day One:
- 3+ years of experience in employee benefits account management, benefits consulting, insurance client services, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of employee benefits administration, renewals, and client service best practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities with the capacity to manage multiple client deliverables simultaneously.
- Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with clients, carriers, and internal partners.
- Professional, client-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to obtain a Life & Health insurance license within 30 days of hire if not currently licensed.
Valuable Additions:
- Active Life & Health insurance license.
- Experience with self-funded benefit plans, captive arrangements, or alternative funding models.
- PEO industry knowledge or experience.
- Familiarity with agency management platforms, CRM systems, and benefits technology tools such as Zywave.
- Bachelor's degree in business, insurance, or a related field.
- Experience supporting RFP processes, carrier marketing activities, contribution modeling, benchmarking, and claims reporting.

Pay Range: Posted below*
*Any job offer is based upon a salary analysis to comply with applicable state pay transparency laws, considering relevant experience, education, certifications, and seniority as compared to others doing substantially similar work. There is no guarantee an offer will be at the top of the posted range based on the salary analysis. Roles may also be eligible for a supplemental compensation, such as performance-based bonus, commission, or equity. Specific eligibility will be discussed with Talent Acquisition team.
