Customer Operations Domain is where most of the human hands and brains are when we serve our clients and monitor their behavior. If all together we do not establish a super-strong view of what flows through (past, present, and future) and get great insights into that, we will remain an organization that can only scale by adding more humans to the processing power. To avoid this, we want to ensure we get someone who can drive the way by data insights - both in terms of day-to-day processing but more importantly also on how and where we can do things smarter and better.

  • You and your team are company-wide trusted experts for insights related to the Customer Operations domain.
  • You successfully nurture a culture of data-inspired decision-making in alignment with the other Data & Analytics leaders across the business.

  • You and your team empowered the Customer Operations group to derive descriptive and diagnostic insights, while you focus on developing predictive and prescriptive insights.

  • You solve problems through collaboration rather than control. You are able to autonomously solve complex problems by being solution-driven and pragmatic.
  • You are the go-to data & analytics partner for the domain leadership team, you are able to guide strategic decision making with data insights, and identify opportunities where data & analytics solutions could make significant impact to the domain.
  • You are able to translate business problems into technical requirements and challenges, and lead the scoping and implementation of the data analytics initiatives. 

Your Responsibilities

  • Be the Data & Analytics Lead for up to 4 Data & Analytics professionals (state: May 2024) of the Customer Operations domain, support their career growth efforts and provide coaching
  • Ensure Data & Analytics best practices and standards are identified, cultivated, and followed in your competence crew and domain, own the quality of work and provide ways of solving problems
  • Shape key metrics, key results, data models and data science projects for the Customer Operations domain as well as help the stakeholders in the domain get the most from the analytical resources.
  • Spend up to 70% of your capacity on individual contribution and spearhead Data & Analytics projects (including Data Science) in the Customer Operations domain
  • Accountable for data quality, delivery and integrity in the Customer Operations domain, its readiness as well as accountability for data strategy roadmap and execution.
  • Build impact through balancing speed and quality in your role
  • Develop and expand the Data & Analytics capabilities in the Customer Operations domain, including data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence. Define the strategy, requirements, and steps for implementation. 
  • Collaborate with domain partners to build and own data products for the domain
  • Act as a multiplier for Data & Analytics inside the domain and facilitate the feedback loop to other Data & Analytics functions at Pleo
  • Facilitate activities to increase the level of data literacy within the domain together with your team

  • Have excellent hands-on knowledge of SQL and experience with advanced analytics and data science topics such as regression and clustering analysis
  • Are an expert in data analytics and/or data science
  • Are experienced with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Looker or similar
