We are seeking an experienced Business Development Representative to drive pipeline generation and establish strategic relationships with key decision makers at prospective customers. This BDR role requires a consultative approach, strong technical acumen, and the ability to position Infotek as a trusted technology advisor. You'll work closely with our sales partners, including the Replicon sales team, to identify opportunities.
Requirements
Pipeline Generation & Outbound Prospecting
- Lead outbound prospecting efforts through multi-channel campaigns including cold calls, email sequences, and social selling strategies
- Consistently generate qualified pipeline to support revenue targets
- Identify and pursue high-value opportunities within target accounts
- Leverage creative prospecting techniques to break into new accounts and industries
Relationship Building & Consultative Selling
- Establish and nurture relationships with C-level executives and key decision makers at prospective customer organizations
- Communicate Infotek's value proposition effectively, tailoring messaging to prospect pain points and business objectives
- Navigate complex organizational structures to identify and connect with the right stakeholders
- Act as a trusted technology advisor by developing deep understanding of customers' business challenges over time
- Conduct discovery conversations to uncover customer needs and propose relevant solutions
Sales Collaboration & Pipeline Management
- Partner closely with the Replicon sales team to identify target industries and accounts
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities within Infotek's CRM (Zoho)
- Monitor and manage sales pipeline to ensure sufficient coverage to meet and exceed sales goals
- Serve as a backup for team members while they are out of office to ensure that client requests are responded to and sales opportunities followed up with
- Provide regular forecasting and pipeline updates to their direct manager
- Collaborate with marketing on campaign effectiveness and lead quality improvement
Leadership & Strategic Contribution
- Serve as a role model and mentor to other BDRs on the team as we grow
- Share best practices and winning strategies with the broader sales organization
- Contribute to the refinement of sales processes, playbooks, and messaging
- Provide market intelligence and competitive insights to inform product and go-to-market strategies
Qualifications
- 1+ years of business development, sales development, or related B2B sales experience
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding pipeline generation and quota targets
- Demonstrated success in navigating complex organizations and building relationships with senior-level decision makers
- Strong consultative selling skills with ability to understand customer business challenges
- Experience with CRM systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities
- Experience in technology/SaaS sales, particularly in accounting, time tracking, project management, or workforce management solutions
- Familiarity with Deltek ecosystem and partner selling models
- Experience working in a channel or partner-driven sales environment
- Background in B2B sales to professional services firms, government contractors, or project-based businesses
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
