We’re looking for a driven, energetic Business Development Executive who knows how to turn a cold prospect into a real conversation — and a real conversation into a qualified sales opportunity.

This is a part-time opportunity for someone who enjoys prospecting, connecting, influencing and winning, and who wants the flexibility of working on a part-time basis.

This isn’t a role for someone who wants to sit back and wait for leads to arrive.

You’ll be joining one of our clients, an exciting technology-focused organisation, and playing a key role in building their pipeline across the Italian market.

Requirements

What you'll be doing

You’ll be at the front line of new business — identifying the right companies, finding the right people and starting conversations that matter.

Your day will include:

• Hunting for new opportunities and identifying high-potential prospects across the Italian market.
• Creating conversations through a multi-channel approach — telephone, email and LinkedIn.
• Engaging prospects and building relationships from the very first interaction.
• Booking high-quality meetings and creating Sales Qualified Leads for the sales team.
• Understanding prospect needs and qualifying opportunities against agreed criteria.
• Keeping the momentum high, managing a consistent volume of outbound activity while maintaining quality.
• Owning your CRM activity in Salesforce, ensuring account data, activity, qualification details and market feedback are accurate and up to date.
• Working closely with Enterprise Sales and Inside Sales to turn qualified opportunities into pipeline.
• Tracking your performance, understanding what works and continually improving your approach.
• Helping evolve the sales process, sharing market insight and ideas that can make the team even more effective.
• Hitting — and ideally smashing — your monthly qualified-lead targets.

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for someone who gets genuinely excited by new business.

Someone who doesn't hear "cold call" and immediately reach for the coffee machine.

You’ll ideally have:

• 2+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally selling IT technologies, solutions or services.
• A genuine passion for prospecting and new business development.
• Experience with cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn and account-based prospecting.
• A high-energy, resilient and positive attitude.
• The ability to handle a high volume of outbound activity without losing focus or enthusiasm.
• A competitive mindset — you want to win, but you also know how to be a great teammate.
• Strong commercial instincts and the ability to identify what makes a prospect worth pursuing.
• Confidence using Salesforce or other CRM and sales-engagement platforms.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise when things get busy.
• The creativity to try something different.
