This senior leadership role involves owning the strategy and execution for the customer-facing control plane experience across Crossplane, Upbound's Enterprise Distribution, the Marketplace, official Providers/Extensions, and partner integrations. Responsibilities include scaling teams, defining long-term architecture strategy, and shaping enterprise adoption of programmable control planes through ecosystem leadership.

This Director will own the strategy and execution for the customer-facing control plane experience across Crossplane, Upbound Enterprise Distribution, Marketplace, Providers, and Partner Integrations. Key duties include defining long-term architecture strategy, scaling teams, and shaping enterprise adoption of programmable control planes through ecosystem development.

This outside sales role is responsible for developing, managing, and closing business for Strategic Enterprise customers in North America, carrying a sales quota aligned with company revenue goals. The executive will act as the primary contact for new prospects and customers, managing complex strategic sales motions and ensuring successful product adoption.

The Staff Solutions Engineer will partner with Sales Account Executives to engage in technical discussions throughout the buying lifecycle, creating high-fidelity presentations, custom demos, and sample solutions. They will work closely with customers to solve technical challenges, define Proof of Concepts for Crossplane and Upbound Cloud, and act as the technical voice representing customer needs internally.
