You will lead the technical migration of data pipelines to meet strict user-data lifecycle requirements including encryption and retention. Additionally, you will establish engineering processes such as testing standards, release checklists, and incident post-mortems to ensure long-term pipeline reliability.
Own and operate the company-wide GCP ML platform, including training and serving infrastructure, pipelines, model lifecycle tooling, and reliable, secure, cost-efficient operations. Build self-service tools and paved roads for ML teams, integrate data flows, manage infrastructure through GitOps, and oversee compute capacity and costs.
The role involves designing, building, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure and platform services on GCP. You will drive automation initiatives, manage CI/CD pipelines, and ensure the reliability and security of platform integrations.
The solution architect will develop and document current and target architectures to support the municipality's digital transformation. They are responsible for creating and justifying solution designs and communicating technical concepts to both business and IT stakeholders.
